For one, they surely did win the Cup of Asia, basically the best achievement in their team's history.
But for two, they did get clapped hard by Ecuador and Senegal and are out of the World Cup on their two first games.
So we could say that their inversion paid off. But not enough to compete in a world level.

I was so excited to see the Qatari team in the world cup, especially after their Asian cup success in 2019 which was absolutely historical. I still don't understand what went wrong with the team in 2022. Three years to prepare yet something was off. In all cases, I think they did finely and thank you for making this wonderful documentary! Great job 🙌
