still need a good striker if Duran goes , watkins isnt enough but could see emery using Duran for Felix and a CB and striker in summer and could be diasi signed proper if he has a good loan . Monchi 6/10
The Gerrard era were poor buys bar Kamara and Digne, I can see Digne going in the summer due to wages. Disasi & Foyth would be handy signings. Felix remains a perfect fit for Emery's system.
I have loads of love for Duran's potential, and his cheeky presence, but half the time he looks like a deer on stilts, and I agree the circus is getting daft. 80 mil quid would see us a long way in the PSR game
Not sold, Frankie. Seems a bit panic signings as you said will they take us to the next level. Our off-season signings again have improved us realistically I say no besides Barkly. Move on from Felix. The price is too high. Rather, we go for Alex Banea his going to improve us. I'm not sure we have handled the incoming and departures to the best of our ability.

I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place, I know John Duran will be a worldy and by letting him go is not a positive step for the clubs ambition, but like George I’m just sick of the circus 🤡 now, and at this moment in time Watkins contributes far more off the ball and he’s our no1.. so reluctantly if the price is right we need to sell, to settle the team if nothing else!, but I just know it’s another Kyle Walker type situation by where we are selling one of the best players in his position!. I completely disagree about the Duran situation impacting our performances on the pitch. It would be crazy to sell Duran in January. We are still in the Champions League FFS. And competing to finish top 5. We need to keep our best players
Monchi should be questioned. The signings in the summer have not improved the team. Stop signing players and loaning them out. Get Dougie back on a loan deal.

Brilliant appraisal of where we’re at and where we’re going lads, it is what it is , a pundit yesterday described us as being ‘gassed’ against West Ham and he was spot on, there’s not much in the tank and we know it.

I personally don't like him. He comes across to me as petulant and full of himself. And what worries me most is that I fet a sense he is a blind spot for Emery. Similar to Coutinio… 😬
I have always felt Duran is a one season wonder for us and I am fine with that. We are not in the right place for Duran, but in exchange if we can make a healthy profit plus some great memories then its a fair exchange.
Imo there's too much emphasis on how much we spent last summer, I.e 150 mil….we also recouped around 120 mil so perspective needed really….
