Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta spoke about Bukayo Saka at his Premier League news conference.

“Bukayo is ready to go.

“The careful thing is already done, so now it’s about putting him on the grass in the right moments, but he is pushing because he really wants it.

“We have respected the time-frame, we have done everything, we had to hold him back, so now he is ready to go.”

Asked if he could start against Fulham: “Yeah, yeah.

“He is another massive weapon. We know the impact he has had on the team and how important his role and his contribution is to our success, so great to have him back.”

  1. I don't get where the notion that we're "rushing him back" has come from. Was reported many times back in December that he'd be ready to go in MARCH.

I don't get wanting and hoping to believe that we're rushing him back when there has been no reports or even rumours suggesting that.

If he's fit, he's fit. Brilliant.

  2. Bit like he was needed when the cup game was already won?

I'd be very worried if I was an Arsneal fan because Arteta seems to be rushing him back into the squad. Don't be surprised if he's injured before the end of the season

  3. The bottom line is to get 3 points, with or without a clean sheet. Saka's return is welcome, but with caution. He shouldn't play 90 minutes, though. Desired line-up:
    Raya
    White
    Saliba
    Gabriel
    ML Skelly
    Odegaard
    Partey
    Rice
    Saka
    Trossard
    Martinelli

  4. This narcissist Arteta is ready to ruin a man's whole career in his desperate attempt to beat Real Madrid. This is the same Arteta who forced Partey back onto the pitch when he had a hamstring injury, played Ben White while injured knowing he needed surgery and played Declan Rice this season while he had a broken toe. The guy doesn't care about anyone but himself 😂 all for nothing as he hasn't achieved anything in the game and definitely isn't winning no Champions League!

  5. he rushed back Jesus and got 4 knee surgeries cause of this and destroyed Partey when he was walking off vs Tottenham . Played Ben White thought injuries. Mikael's a joke

  6. Bukayo Saka is not just a winger; he is a spatial architect, sculpting attacking geometry with each touch. His movement is a paradox—both inevitable and unpredictable, a controlled drift between rigidity and rupture. He doesn’t merely beat defenders; he reconfigures their defensive equations, bending their shape to his will. His left foot is a scalpel, dissecting low blocks with surgical precision, while his right is a feint, a mirage that keeps defenders suspended in decision limbo. Saka doesn’t just play on the right; he orbits it, warping the gravitational pull of defensive lines, creating corridors of light where others see walls.
