We did loose Partey for a few games at the beginning of the season and Elneny came in and got injured and we where left with Xhaka and Lakonga for a few games.

We got the wins last season against the big teams with El-neny, but what happened in the games after that? He stunk up the place! And still got a contract extension. If we are to continue improving, we need proper backup for Partey

Its not his class/quality that is in question, it is his durability. Let's be honest, Partey is made out of glass. I agree he is the field, Marshall. If/when arsenal lose him, we are screwed.
Partey & Xhaka is like the engine in our midfield, turning it over when we transition in play. He's under-rated but if he scores a few more bangers others will take note. His passing and positioning is far more important. Pray he stays fit 🙏

Partey and Xhaka are outmuscling teams. Very physical which is great in tight games.
Thomas Partey is definitely our most important player and it's not even close. The drop off when he's not in the team is unbelievable.
Upgrade lokonga, Nketiah and Ramsdale with Tielemans(£6m) Balogun back from France/tall centre forward or mudryk(£40m) and Onana (£20m). Saliba, partey and Jesus are must keeps.

Second, to say Jesus is playing excellently while not finishing is like listening to people tout Timo Werner for 2 years. If he doesn't score it won't be on the scoreboard, will it?

I’ve always said this he wins the ball back when the opposition turn the ball over and breaks the lines he knows when to turn when to dribble and when to play the safe pass his decision making is elite. And apart from his technical ability his athleticism mobility and pace is underrated. This is the best back 5 we have had since the invincible era and he is easily among the best 3 CDMs in the world
