  1. I never liked this transfer. Mount already had injury problems before he came to united and to pay 60 mil for a player who had 12 months on his contract shows how bad our recruitment has been

  2. I remember watching him play for Chelsea, he was such a smooth player, unruffled, great passer of the ball and always seemed to have all the time in the world.
If we get 75% of that player then he has been a success.

  3. Mason Mount and Andre Onana are the living symbols of Erik Ten Hag’s failed attempt to change United into a version of his Ajax team. Mount was suppose to play higher up with Fernandes and help with a higher press and Onana was suppose to be the trigger for playing out from the back a trait De Gea was lacking. When Ten Hag’s first transfer, after a 23w- 6d- 9L , 3rd place season, was Mason Mount it signaled the Dutchman’s intent to change away from counter attack to possessing pressing style . Results..8th place season

Amazing how little this channel and other spend on how United have fallen from 3rd to 13th is less than 2 full years. Apparently the “ players are crap” narrative gets more views.

  4. A very useless player. Total waste of money. Zirkzee in half a season has played more than Mount who has been here for 2 years. He's a flop and the worst signing in United's history. He's not going to turn it around so pls we do not have time for players who can't be fit and are on high wages. Should be trying to get rid of him and Shaw in the summer 💯

  5. If Mount couldnt stay fit, then it means nothing that he is good player, skilled player, fit Amorim's tactic, etc.
If he is not fit, means he got paid for nothing in return, his wage eats up the budget that can be used to fund another player. The same can also be said for other injury prone players like Shaw.
Its sad to see that even Jonny Evans is much fitter than those two at the moment.
So my personal opinion, its better to part ways.

  6. We paid 50M for him to get him a year early. If he only played 514 minutes in 2023-24 then we paid 97,276£ per minute played.

I always questioned paying so much for a player with one year left on his contract. Shows how poor the united management was with their negotiations.

    Should have just waited.

  7. He can't do it , cuz it's not up to him. He is not playing regulary for the last 4 seasons. Chelsea knew about his problem and they somehow managed to sell him to us for 60 mln with all the injury record and just one year of contract. It was always an abysmal signing and with that 250 k per week it doesnt matter if he's gonna make it or not , cuz he's going nowhere.

  8. His sigining under ETH, in retrospect, would probably make sense in a similar way like Olmo slots in Barcelona. Could play as an attacking 6, 8, 10 or on the wing if needed. We all know he'd be first choice for Amorim's midfield if he was fit, so he's definitely got a role to play. Alas…

  9. Man Utd shouldn't have signed him in the first place… he is not good enough to play for Man Utd… The club was goaded into signing him by the English Press and Ex-Players who kept saying he would get into the Man Utd Team… Thank God Everton's asking price saved us from Signing another English Media hyped Player, Jarrad Branthwaite. So to do this about a player who shouldn't have been here in the first place…😏🤦🏾‍♂️

  10. He could play in this system if he stays fit… he was one of the most important piece in tuchel’s chelsea win in the CL as one of the forward players in their 343 system… im still thinking abt that arsenal game at the emirates which we started well but crumbled after he got injured 😭😭

  11. Time should have never started. Mount and Shaw are professional injured they recover train/play as a side job to return to their real employment. 1000000000000% Waste of money. Trash.

  12. He had injury problems before he joined. Only 75 days, but all of them were 2023 and then we signed him. It's just another ridiculous failure from our former recruitment team

  13. How things stand Mount is a worse signing than Antony. I would love him to stay fit because there's definitely a player there, but a player with this many injuries over two seasons? I just can't see him ever being what he was, even if he stays fit.

  14. If he can get healthy I 100% want to keep him around, he could be a leader within the team but he has to have goal contributions. He's an excellent presser and glue guy but in a system without true wingers he's gonna need at least 15-20 G/A a season to claim the number 10 role moving forward.

Made no sense as a Ten Hag signing but actually fits great for the Amorim system, the wages are pretty nuts though.

  15. No.

INEOS will look to get rid of him. I knew the signing was bad at the time. He isn't a 6, 8, or 10. I am still none the wiser what player he is. The fee was ridiculous, salary is no better. Giving him the #7 shirt was unforgivable.
