The narrative that you can't turn down Real Madrid is absolutey NOT TRUE! Many players turn down Madrid but they don't make the news. Everyone cannot play for one club. For me if van dijk has 2 to 3 more years at the top i think he is right behind terry and rio. For premier league salah over ronaldo. Ronaldo solidifed his status as one of the best ever at real madrid. Salah has had a better premier league career than Ronaldo
See now would it be preferable to fans if players joined and ended their careers at home town clubs maybe not win as much but a few bits rather than win everything but then move on to other challenges. It's ultimately the exact thing but I'm sure one would be a hero and one view as a Judas

Liverpool’s fault is it? Tell me, how are Liverpool meant to force TAA to sign a contract? Only 2 ways I can think of – either physically threaten him with heavies, which is illegal, or secondly offer him a ridiculously stupid amount of money which the club can’t afford. Trent was tapped by Real a while back, probably through his mate Bellingham, and this is how Madrid do business. It saves them a huge transfer fee and gives Trent a multi million signing on fee. They all knew what they were doing and Liverpool are NOT at fault! 99% of the TV/Radio pundits are not getting this!! The only one who does is Simon Jordan on Talksport, the rest are clueless.

Lets be real, excuse the pun, but Trent is easily replaced. Bradley is far better, just injury prone. If we get another RB in like frimpong the team are fine. It's poor management by FSG letting contracts run down. If we had sold him for 60m+ nobody would have cared. The biggest issue is Salah and VVD. Again, dreadful from FSG
