      Gerrard is Liverpool’s greatest ever local player who was also a fan. He left on a free because he wanted more playing time so put himself above Liverpool 😂

      Imagine how fewer goals we will concede now Trent is going. We will definitely miss him going forward though. Hopefully him leaving won't upset anything in the changing rooms.

      Trent won us everything so he deserves the. Fsg didnt want to pay so… same with Bellingham fsg didn't want to pay. So its all on fsg they cheapskate n greedy. They done same with Gerrard mane firmino and even maybe vvd n salah come end of season 😒

      If he signed a new contract it would be in the region of 250,000 a week + £10m signing bonus etc. You are looking at £40m outlay which can now go elsewhere. Add to that Salah and Virgil savings. Mbeumo, Kerkez and Schloterback??? Cheaper, younger players. I actually think Allison will go with maybe Tsimikas, Gomez and Nunez.

      It is almost April, Liverpool did not even give a contract to Salah and VVD. These idiot fans are crying about TAA.
      If Salah and VVD were the same age as TAA they would have done the same.

      It's simple for me ,trent doesn't give a funk about us or our club so I don't care about him , move on I won't have an affinity with him, and that doesn't matter to him so on we go up the reds YNWA

      16:00 The way I see it, Trent is passing the torch to another youth product in Conor Bradley. He is next man up and quite a good replacement for Trent. If Trent suddenly decides to stay, would Liverpool supporters be happy to see Bradley leave? I think Conor Bradley is ready to start at rb for Liverpool FC.

      Great move for Trent to Real Madrid. He is just what Real needs and I hope he does well there. The football should be amazing to watch

      ‘Club didn’t pay a transfer fee’ and ‘cost the club nothing’ are not the same thing.
      Having said that if wants to leave so be it. He sometimes looks like his heart’s not in it so best to leave.

      If he'd come out and said that he loves the club and the fans, and that winning everything here has been so special and something that he'll never forget. But I'm at a point now where I want a new challenge. Then us fans might have been more accepting of the move. Plus, if he had made the gesture of telling Madrid that he is going to sign a new contract with Liverpool, but it will have reasonable buyout clause, so that he doesn't leave his boyhood club without anything to reinvest in a replacement for him. Then I'm sure the vast majority of Liverpool fans would not have an issue. Yes, it would still hurt, but we'd understand though.

      As an outsider, there's still something a little off about how they speak about Trent. I noticed Jamie said that people from Liverpool come back to live in the city. Then said "I dunno if Trent will" as if he's different. Why's he different?

      He's a scouser playing in the team he grew up supporting and he's leaving on a free in his freakin prime to none other than Real Madrid…I think the anger is justified.

      The guy wants a change he won Liverpool alot there first pl title champions league he served his club great for years why not give him the Farwell he deserves so what he wants to leave… Arsenal fan here
