Pump the brakes. I like DeLigt and he can be a great squad player in this formation of 3 centre backs but captain? If we are in a position to win the title I think DeLigt is the 4th choice cb.

People forget he captained Ajax at 16 years old!!! And played for Netherlands at around same age.. Major league title winner in Netherlands, Italy and Germany.. If he wins a a league title with us somehow, then he is actually one of the most decorated defenders maybe ever.. How many other players in any position have won every major trophy I. I’m a united fan and yeah he is good but he begs the question why doesn’t he last long at these big clubs – juventus paid so much for him but shipped him off after a couple of seasons, Bayern pay big money again for him, struggles, gets injured and Eric dier who was meant to be a temporary solution keeps his place over him and they get Kim min jee and they ship him out
