  1. I wonder why they feel it necessary to preface how poor Grealish is with "a GREAT talent"? I mean, he isn't actually. Take another example – Christian Pulisic is far better at Chelsea even while Potter cuts him off at the knees. Yet these mouthpieces can't bring themselves to just say so.

  2. Grealish hangs onto the football for way loo long at non-dangerous areas such as near halfway line. That is just inviting opponents to target his ankles for minimal consequence. He is also slow looking up and picking open man running the channels.

  3. I imagine the same kind of comment was made about Bernardo Silva when we got him and Ryad Mahrez. Right now the side starting 11 is full, so there will be a bit of struggle for him. I can assure you, in a few more months under Pep we will be having a different convo.

  4. Well the thing is m city can afford to spend 100 million on a player and him not be that good ie grealish In this case and it doesn't matter because they can afford to unlike most other clubs not that I necessarily agree with the grealish bashing anyway I thought he started most Matches in the premier league and champions league this season ain't he? OK his numbers could be better as could any players at any club basically?🤣

  5. Pep has to take a rare L on this signing he was a very good player at Villa but if City got an offer of £50-60m I'd sell immediately. Leroy Sane was streets ahead of him in terms of taking on players, assists/goals.

  6. Grealish will be offloaded by Pep in next 18 months. He is not the player he us hyped up to be . Never beats a man and whips the ball into the box.He will end up the same as Sterling whose international career is on the slide.

  7. Just like Grealish, Dele Ali, Sancho, Rashford, Barkley, Hodson Odoi, Mount etc. All are overrated overpriced English kids who are just average and some of them below average in reality

  8. stop criticizing these players with hefty price tags, its not their fault that their former clubs charged those prices. pep signed Grealish for a reason

  9. Messi was available for free…but instead Grealish for 100 million. It would have taken the load off KDB and benefited Foden/Halaand

  10. I've been saying it for a long time, Grealish is insanely overrated. He is nowhere near as good as a lotta people claim he is, not worth the money that city paid for him & not worthy of a spot on the national team either. Grealish is an average Footballer.

  11. Problem with going to Man city, they have a wealth of talent and resources. They can have 100m players sitting on the bench with fierce competition for places. They buy ready made world class players not players with talent. Foden is perhaps the exception to the rule with his development. But its a big risk for the likes of Grealish to go to Man city. we've seen it with various other young players. Grealish would have been much better off going to one of the other top clubs for his own development. Its a sad waste of talent for Grealish, Villa and also for England.

  12. At least Sterling was fast and would threaten teams with runs. Would defend and win duels sometimes. Would press. Would dribble past opponents and cross the ball in. Grealish does nothing. Just backwards passes.

  13. Jack Grealish is a fantastic player , I love the way he plays very South American, easy on the eye football.. and what I hate about city and european football is that they have been trying to be the opposite of that they want fast play, no inventiveness or creativity . They want fast , dynamic obedient soldiers on the field. I'm done with the european leagues…Grealish come to Boca Juniors papa

  14. I understand players wanting to set themselves up financially for the rest of their lives, hence the reason they go sit on the bench of some team. However, it’s a dangerous game to play. Sometimes they never make it off that bench and are eventually sold to lesser teams and go into oblivion. Sinclair, for instance, among others, comes to mind.
Grealish is going to have to leave Man City to continue his development, and so will Foden, regardless of who the manager is, if he does not become a regular starter.
The best thing that happened to Otamendi was to be sold to Benfica in 2020 at a time when he was on the bench at City. He has since played a ton of games for Benfica, and this has prepared him for winning the World Cup with Argentina.

  15. Grealish likes keeping the ball this is not what City do , this guy should simply change his game or go for another challenge or he might waste his career
