JSGC dnt blame Doku if Doku was in Liverpool there will be players in the box to support him and pick up passes. Doku is always doubles up. It’s so unfair how it’s easy for us to pick on him. @JSGC

We need to get new wingers. I've run out of defense for Savinho. Lad's a bum! He finishes so bad than my little bro. I think Man city should go for Sporting Trincao and Lilles Chevellier. Ortega shouldn't be starting I'm sorry. Doku always beats his man but produces nothing. Haaland's positioning is off. He doesn't put himself in positions where'd he'd score.
We need to get some fresh legs in this team ASAP. I love Bernardo for what he has done but what he's doing now basically amounts to nothing.Dokj needs to have players crash the box so he has something to cross to. I blame the team for not doing that not doku
Thank you you nailed it, explained exactly what I meant to say, City has set the standard for the quality players for many years, we can't just try to fill a position with anything to make 11 players, just to be fair he is not the only player to point at, but out of position and short legs cost City all the time with today many teams have very fast and physical wingers
Jérémy Doku was nothing short of 'Electric' when he first arrived Sept 2023 every time he got the ball you could not dare to look away because we all knew he was going to beat everyone and get his cross in … How different it is today ?! What the heck has happened to him? Pep says keep the ball but the forwards have to release the ball the put it in the net ??!!! lol. Doku is a nice guy but we don't need nice folk right now we are suffering. We will get a good price for Doku in the summer SELL.
Been watching City for 60+ years and yes being spoiled in recent years but I’m used to winning now so the FA cup is a must. Too many players over the hill or just not good enough where’s the next KDB or Vincent Kompany coming from. In my opinion we have the best striker ever but he needs feeding too many times when on the break we pass back
Doku is a FA Cup rotation player Savio needs to start scoring or he needs to be a rotation player. We need to clinical strikers. Leo? Yamal? Rodrygo
Doku is very skilful but also very selfish
The wingers need to improve their performance coz they dribble too much not giving crosses inside the box en that is their job not to stay with the ball too much
Savinho needs to train on how to finish when he's in the box to score coz i really don know what he was playing at Girona
Doku does great at getting past single and even double press. But he has no vision to pass the ball into the box. I also think the rest of the city attack needs to improve at crashing the box during Doku's run. There are times he's on the wing about to cross and no one is available for it.
I'll put this very simply so everyone can understand….Doku is not, and never will be good enough…one of the reasons we haven't been so good this season (apart from Rodri) is the lack of Jack Grealish playing time…1. He creates chances 2. He gets free kicks 3 He works very well with Gvardiol and 4. He retains the ball….and with the way we defend, ball retention is of paramount importance
Another thing to add on Doku’s production is he just has no vision. There was an instance Haaland made an incredible run. Essentially a matchup of pace if he even puts the ball in the area.
Doku’s worst performance from an awareness pov. If he doesn’t shape up I say he’s not starting 11 material
You are right, the left winger should be able to play centre back and be able to prevent 2 goals from a team that cost Jack Grealish and Ruben Dias. 🤡
Those wingers are going to look different with midfielders that get over 20 G/A a season.
We need to understand that we have a weakened team, Khusanov is the future but that own goal was just pure bad luck.
Dare i say that a season without CL football could be a blessing?, the downside to that is europa means Sunday prem games and tired players.
They should remove the top 5 from the carabao cup to free up some rest team.
Sorry to disagree but IMHO Doku is a very good squad member. His skill and strength are important. Some people are far too quick to critisize individuals. Any problems City have at the moment run deeper than 2 or 3 players. Let's get these 115 + charges out of the way and move on from there. Positives please- the team re-build is well under way.
This was a down season. A hit rock bottom and rebuild season. It was coming. It was due. I will not fault players or Pep but reflect on the things these players and managers did in the past 7 years or so? AMAZING.
Doku, Grealish, Lewis, Dias, Gundguan, Silver & Ederson must all be moved on tired of them.
We need a player like Eze creative, can finish prem proven.
