I'm fine with not picking Morgan Gibbs-White, but what's the rationale of picking Jordan Henderson? The guy is completely past it, and I don't buy the argument of his leadership/experience. What type of magical, mystical advice is Henderson going to give to Bellingham who has already won the lot at Madrid or Kane, etc. Makes zero sense

Henderson and Walker make no sense whatsoever. If they are anywhere near WC 2026 squad, England has no chance
People are judging Walker on his age when he is still playing regular football for AC Milan so what is wrong with Walker? Trent is our best passer so must be in our squad but not a great defender, Reece James is very good but can't stay fit, Tino Livramento only has one cap so if not Walker then Ben White is the best option even though he only has 4 caps but is an Arsenal regular. However, football is a game of opinions and no England squad will ever please everybody so I understand just how dfficult it must be.

Ben White should never be considered, he turned his back on England. Also, it's scandalous that Djed Spence wasn't called up, he's been outstanding for Spurs this season.
Ben White is a coward and fraud who is mentally weak and regularly fills his shorts under pressure, his non selection was the correct decision. By contrast, how can Tuchel select Henderson – well past his best, he wouldn't get minutes in the championship

Henderson best CM unfortunately. We missed him last tourny with rice at CM who can only pass sideways at best and cannot keep the ball under pressure

Dan burn has been collosal this season ..
I think sport is different in general to a normal job because once you have that fall out with staff or the manger, it will now be hard to get the best out of that player in any sport that’s why people change trainers that’s why people change clubs that’s why people change environments. I think when you look at it your environment is a huge percentage of performance and it seems it’s being overlooked. Yes is country first but in circumstances you can thrive, it wouldn’t have been just one occasion let’s not be naive. Just my opinion on things.

Foden has won more trophies than the whole England squad combined, you need winners in the team, and that’s what Foden brings.
Dan Burn has played well this season, all credit to him for his call up. But we had so many issues in the LB position, and Tyrick Mitchell can't even get a sniff when he's been incredibly dependable and an excellent defender

Burn should have had a call up when Southgate was in charge, however, his performances this season deserve a call up. There’s not many English defenders who’ve performed as well this season and that’s just a fact.

Dan Burn is way better than Maguire put it that way. Ive seen both play hundreds of times, and Maguire wouldn't even get a game ahead of our fifth choice centre back (Jamal lascelles), nevermind Dan Burn (and thats not tongue in cheek).
Agree with the Gibbs White views. Don’t like the ‘he’s carried forest’ think it’s disrespectful to a lot of other good players at the club. However, he should be in the squad.

Anyone questioning Dan burns call up is what’s wrong with the world and has zero football knowledge the man should have been called up years ago. I made a comment on this years ago how he was way better than Maguire and was laughed at. Dan is the model professional, complete role model and what all kids should aspire to be. Actually watch him play before you judge. His age is irrelevant as well.
