Plymouth Argyle are not applicable due to the fact that they somehow have an Asda Supercentre, but no Asda Superstore
Edit: Due to backlash, Plymouth Argyle’s distance has been checked to be 26 miles. Which would still put them bottom.

Will be interesting to see how this changes if you did Tesco instead, Sunderland would be way up the list.

Closest to Asda, you’ll never sing that

0.2 miles seems *too far* for the Cardiff ground seeing as it’s literally over the road. Can’t foresee that record ever being broken.

Asda a bit upmarket for Stoke.

Surely Leeds get bonus points for having ASDA Headquarters

3.3 miles from pride park to Spondon seems off but I refuse to check it

I can’t do miles, but there’s an old Netto converted to Asda at stone’s throw from Hillsborough. So my petition is to count that as a ‘Superstore’.

I thought that there was an Asda superstore on the A41 near Cassiobury Park and therefore close to Vicarage road

Although this puts us further down the table it’s actually 1.2 miles.

Do it by tesco, and cov will finally be top of the league. 😂😂😂

We should be second (funnily enough). Theres an Asda on Queens Road which is 0.5 miles walking away from BBDBL.
Edit: Man it said superstore. I propose a change to the rules.

I know they aren’t championship right now but the approach to Wigan from the motorway, there’s Asda everywhere it’s bizarre.

Yeah alright, but do you have an end named after Sainsburys cause you share a car park? How very tinpot to not be us

Make this an Ozmen Extra and you’ve got a very different story. Typical cherry-picking stats.

That Asda used to have this button you could press to make chicken noises come out over a speaker near the eggs section.
Thankfully they’ve removed it now… would have been a sick joke otherwise (🇮🇳)

Aye but we’re 1.8 miles to ASDA head quarters … So do one 😅

It’s a good job this is specific to ASDA or Hull City would’ve been kicking themselves for moving out of Boothferry Park

By my reckoning the nearest ASDA Superstore to the Riverside is in South Bank and is actually 2.5 miles away by road. Or is this as the crow flies?

How far to the Asda down the bay? That’s got to put you around the holy 12th place

Watford has an Asda Supercentre which used to be a Hypermarket. What’s the difference!?

I was gonna say surely the neareat Asda is 1.8 miles, but I now see you aren’t counting Supercentres (for some reason??)

We’ve got a flipping ginormous Tesco right next door though.

It’s 3.6 miles from Home Park to Asders – taking us well clear of the relegation spots

Disappointed you didn’t fiddle it and put Bristol City/PNE in joint 12th.

They were going to build a Sainbury’s next to the Riverside, but it fell through and now they’ve got an Argos and a B&M instead. At the time I thought it was just poor planning by Middlesbrough Council, but now it seems like a cunning plan to keep Boro 12th in the league for supermarkets.
