  1. You can just see he isn’t good enough. You shouldn’t ever be embarrassed by your Football team. I never have because no matter how poor the squad has ever been, those teams always fought. This team doesn’t. They are weak mercenaries who for the most part have all hidden away from the situation.

  2. I get it's bad but sacking him now is not the answer, we have to wait, if he wins the Europa league then he deserves a bit of support so let's get behind him and the team and not do what we always do and get a manager sacked after 2 years, I look at Newcastle and Eddie Howe , last season they had a bad season with injury's and suspensions and they stuck with it, look at them now, if the board sacked him then they wouldn't be doing well this season, cmon fans let's get behind him and the team because we need to win the Europa league 🎉🎉🎉🎉

  3. I really really really really want to be professional footballer but no matter how much I want it, it wont change anything cause IM NOT GOOD ENOUGH . read AP. Any grown up could see this outcome at the beginning of the season – there was simply no metric that could support anything but a disaster by Xmas unless you are relying on blind faith. The only thing I did not foresee was how bad it would be and how long this pathetic Board would continue to hide behind this guy

  4. Do we have all our players back Chris ??
    Romero fully fit ??
Van de Ven fully fit ??
    Kulusevski ??
    Maddison, Sonny , hit & miss ??
    Bissouma not good enough !!
    Bentacur , hit & miss .
Johnson, don't know what to make of him ??
    Solanke , fully fit ??
    Odobert , Udogie , fully fit ??
    Danso , injured !!
Matieus Tel , needs time to adapt !!
    etc, etc

  5. Levy is waiting to sell so he's not bothered where we finish. And if we were lucky enough to win in Europe then we'd still be in the same position next season every other club now know how to play against Ange ball same excuses every time we lose we weren't at the level we wanted.
    I'm passed dissapointed

  6. Agreed, that was surely the last straw. I’d have sacked him after the Everton defeat. We are not going to win the Europa league and we will not improve next season. He has to go now.

  7. Unfortunately I found myself being disappointed by Bentancur on many occasions in this game, I feel it was because he was trying way too hard to make up for inadequacies in several other players.

  8. he is out of his depth, its obvious the premier is far stronger than scottish league or japanese, he is league 2 standard, goodbye and good riddance

  9. I'm still not Ange out, however, like you mentioned I'm struggling to keep the faith. We don't look anywhere near the attacking team we were and everything is now hinged on the Europa league. What's the answer though, we can't continually fire and hire managers

  10. First of all, we have no idea what's going on in the camp. As to getting rid of Ange, which coach would want to come here where the fans are so toxic they boo their own players and coaches? Who would want to coach in this environment where the fans(especially the younger ones) are so easily influenced by opposing fans? I have been a fan for 45 years, and I have never seen our fan base as toxic like this. Who the hell do we think we are? We are acting like we think we're the biggest team in the world…..well, no because the fans of the biggest team in the world don't boo their players and coaches.

  11. Chris, you are misinterpreting what Romero is saying. He/they are not happy with the situation with FAN'S behaviour, and who would. Clearly he backs the coach.

  12. There’s a manager who is not doing great. Maybe a new manager might help. It’s pretty obvious that the style doesn’t really work across a season.

  13. Hello there Chris.

I always try to put myself in the mindset of the manager, when making questionable decisions. I can see doing this line up as a "sacrifice", to benefit the UEL games.. my issue with that is like you said: Our most valuable players are most likely on international duty and risk injury anyways. So saving cannot really be applied here.

The second reason could be that he is STILL… trying to figure out what the lesser squad actually can do. Deki, Maddison(when he wants to) & Bergvall have time and time again proven to us they're essential. No one else is creative in the midfield.. Son(when he is loose) & Spence are the only others.

I want Ange to work as Spurs manager, but every sign points to his system requiring some mighty fair weather.. We have only one fully functional XI & it is not even close. Even that XI has some drawbacks with Son & Maddison having consistency issues. Our captain struggles with End-Goaling and Madders with magic tricks; being the next Houdini.

    Our strongest XIs

    ATTACK XI

    Vicario

    Porro, Romero, VDV, Spence

    Bergvall

    Deki, Maddison

    Odobert, Solanke, Son

Off the Bench: Moore, Johnson, Tel, Gray, Sarr

    BALANCED XI

    Kinský

    Spence, Romero, Davies, VDV

    Bentancur, Gray

    Deki

    Moore, Solanke, Son

Off the Bench: Udogie, Bergvall, Danso, Maddison, Odobert

We could of course mix and match a player or two, but wanted to give the most unique XIs so we could possibly rotate most of the players, but some were too good to move.. lol

Anyway, I hope to see that trophy lifted and we can all tell the story of the most rollercoaster of a season!

  14. Ange's fate is already sealed, regardless of the Europa league. His fate was decided during the AZ match when we scraped through by the skin of our fingernails. Look at ange's demeanor and you'll see it. He knows he's a dead man walking.

  15. I have supported Ange all the way, but unfortunately it looks like the rest of the Premier League has adjusted to Ange Ball and he has not been able to counter. At the highest level of any sport, if you can't make tactical adjustments, your tenure will be short.

  16. Totally agree about 7 changes Chris. When the team came off the pitch against AZ on Thursday they were 'flying', as were the fans. Ange-ball had been seen for the first time in ages. That should have been our starting point on Sunday, but making so many changes took us backwards, – there was nothing to build on. 'My' team were Brown, Baker, Henry; Blanchflower, Norman, Mackay; Dyson, White, Smith, Greaves, Jones. Why can I remember the 61-62 team so clearly? They are etched in my memory because they were the Spurs team, the 'glory, glory' team. They played more or less every single game, knew each other inside out.

I don't agree with Ange about not being good enough. We would all agree that with our best team of players Spurs were certainly good enough in the first 12 games last season, – and there were again the same flashes of brilliance during the AZ game. We have been decimated with injuries this season, but now our best players are available make them our First Team (as it used to be referred to) and we can go from strength to strength. With only 9 games left in the Premier league and (hopefully) 5 in the Europa Cup Ange now needs to prove that HE's good enough. Keeping our 'First' team together will be key to his success…
