Theo Hernandez is a player under the spot-light at the moment but for the wrong reasons. A poor performance and a sending off vs Feyenoord meant Milan were knocked out of the Champions League.

HAJJ breaks down whether or not its a good idea to offer Theo Hernandez a brand new deal till 2029.

  1. I'd be asking spurs if they want to come off Udogie, similar style of player plus he is Italian. Should be easy to find a buyer for Theo just on his talent alone. Unfortunately I think he has gotten too comfortable with Milan and is not mature to change on his own

  2. Bro I love Hernandez but hes really been letting me down. His attitude is poor and for a senior player in the locker room he behaves like a child. If its true 125,000 a week then steer away from

  3. 19 year old Alex Jimenes CAN replace Theo and Leao at the same moment, that kid can cover left back and left wing at the same game, bench theo and leao and leave that left side of the pitch only to Jimenez, that kid will run up and down no problem, no pulisic no sottil on the left, only Jimenez

  4. As a Milan fan and someone who loved Theo, I’d rather have someone who’d give routine 6’s/7’s out of 10 than someone who’ll give you more 5’s with a sprinkle of 8’s

  5. Theo case is simple:

If we where a team that had the intention to be competitive winning all comps
We would sell Theo and get another World class LB like Davies for 70-80M.
(Maybe recently he is not one but accounting for all of his season we can all agree he was atleast top 10)

    Since we are not
The best strategy is to renew his contract on the “cheap”, get a “titolare quality backup” not Bartesaghi so that if he does something close to the first yellow again you can change him at half time.

Theo pretty much always plays 90min, he probably has some private problems too so we can’t depend on him like that anymore.
Having a good alternative will force him to work harder on keeping his position

  6. i feel like this is similar to the pirlo case, we will regret not keeping him. we have to kee him, the ref was too harsh. it twisted the whole fate of the game and the fate of the footballer in his career. i think it is a very very harsh descision and we shouldnt be this negative about him. this is actually his first bad season with milan i believe he will still perform, perhaps this very unlucky and stupid moment will change his attitude about it. im sure it will stick to him. ultimately we lost the game because of his action and this is unacceptable.

  7. What a farce! This is a team that commits the least fouls in Serie A but contracts the most red cards. I don’t use this word lightly, but this among many other gaffes this season, is plain retarded. I’ve been a Milan fan for 40 years and have never seen a side that has done so much to sabotage itself.

  8. The problem isn’t Theo; the real issue lies with management. The problem is Cardinale and Furlani. The problem is their “moneyball” system, which simply doesn’t work in football. I encourage you to watch Cardinale’s conferences, where he explicitly states, “Winning every year is bad for the ecosystem.” Those are his words.

We had 380 minutes to get the job done—how can the Champions League elimination be blamed on a single player?

  9. Antonee Robinson would definitely fit the roll for Theo. Not to talk up the American thing but, just pure football. Antonee Robinson will bleed for Milan.

  10. hajj, i beg u do a review on Conceicao's tenure so far. Becuase as far as i can see he's a portugese passion merchant who hasn't implemented a style of play at all.

  11. Poor player, top physicality yes but always lack of motivation and wisdom. Always pass backwards when the opposition press him a little, low successful pass rate, can't be bothered to track back when lose the ball, taking forever to throw a damn ball into the pitch(this pisses me off the most as it shows how lost he is, its embarrassing to watch), you're a grown ass man, you dont need Maldini or anyone to hold your hands, you play for Milan. I liked him a lot like most of us did, but enough is enough, he's gotta go

  12. theo is on the same wage as chukwueze RLC and emerson😂😂 so you can’t really argue, he’s underpaid and you can’t tell me that theo is performing worse than those mentioned above. Give him that contract and he start performing again. Theo has been our only LB the last 4 years it’s a miracle he hasn’t picked up a big injury he’s fatigued and needs a backup. He shouldn’t have to always play against bottom teams like monza, parma and venezia. seen a lot of milanistas switch up which is embarrassing🤦🏾‍♂️I FULLY SUPPORT THEO, will never forget the scudetto he gave us❤🖤

  13. Ironically, we need a more selfish player. I used to play as a striker, and I would NEVER go to ground unless I was actually kicked down. The main reason being: I want the ball, I want to score, I'm definitely not diving to gain a penalty that I might not even get to take myself. So I'll never understand these dives in the box from players who could have easily gotten the ball and gotten the goal instead.
