Just like Benzema adapting to every new Galáctico attacker RM would bring in and still being key to the team’s success.
Oh I love Rodrygo. He’s amazing everywhere. He played a spell in LW while Vini was injured? Torched everyone. Jude is injured/suspended, Rodrygo can play 10. He’s amazing at 10. Mbappe is drifting wide to support Vini? Who’s gonna push the backline with Jude? Oh Rodrygo can do that. Mbappé’s injured/suspended? I think Rodrygo can play striker.
And here’s the uncomfortable truth for everyone, if Rodrygo was playing in any other team in the world? He’s their best player. He’s gonna be in the level of Vini, Mbappé, and Jude in people’s eyes. Only fools forget about the R.
It’s very different from how Griezmann performed when out of position at Barça.
Wish barca had bought him
Indian ON TOP
Yes he is
He would positively transform Arsenal's left hand side
Fede Valverde is their best player
I don't think his best position is on the left just because he has a very slightly higher goal rate there. He's tended to underperform in front of goal on average since leaving Santos, with only this season being a real outlier. But even if he's seen as out of position, he's been a better passer in terms of possession retention, a more progressive passer who gets the ball into the final third and box more, a slightly more effective crosser, a better set piece creator (even though he never seems to have directly assisted from one), a better dribbler, and he loses the ball from heavy touches or otherwise being dispossessed far less often compared to VinĂcius Jr. Best of all… he's hardworking. Yeah he's class.
Rodrygo, Valverde and Bellingham are the best for me. VinĂcius Jr. just seems more attractive for headlines. I like tireless old man Lucas Vázquez as well lmao
He is overrated
I’ve been saying this for so long
He needs to shine for Brazil like Kylian shines for France
I refuse to believe Bellingham would ever try to boost someone else's confidence lol
Can dribble (small and large spaces), can retain(tight spaces), can combine, can receive BTL, can shoot (variety and with both feet), can run in behind, can ghost in the box, got a great final ball, defensive workrate, can take set pieces.
He's easily the best player at Madrid.
I think Rodrygo is a better LW than Vini. It’s just that Vini is incapable of playing anywhere else while Rodrygo can play on both sides. Without Vini or on a different side I wouldn’t be surprised if he wins the balon dor. (He may win it regardless)
We're gonna see this question asked everytime he does well now aren't we
Like Pedro in Barcelona, value in every step
i told my mate the other day, madrid should sell Vini, invest in defensive players and start Rodrygo on the LW Mbappe ST Arda Guler RW. having Bellingham and Valverde support that front 3 would be a joy to watch.
Edit: i love Vini a lot but i don’t think he’s reached his ceiling at the club!
He's basically like a winger version of Benzema. He is silky smooth with the ball and supports the attackers around him while also getting goals for himself.
His dribbling is top class
No he isn't.
