Chelsea winger Noni Madueke won’t play before the international break despite being pictured back in training this week.

It was hoped that the 23-year-old would be available to face Arsenal this weekend, but speaking in his pre-match conference ahead of the Conference League game against FC Copenhagen, head coach Enzo Maresca said that Madueke would not be ready.
The forward has not played since being taken off in the early stages of the 3-0 defeat to Brighton in the Premier League a month ago.

It is believed that Madueke sustained a hamstring injury and he has been undergoing treatment since then.

Nicolas Jackson is thought to be in the same boat as Noni Madueke.

The forward picked up a hamstring problem in the first half of the 2-1 win over West Ham at the beginning of February.

Jackson played on before being substituted but the severity of the injury was not known until a lot later on.

His estimated recovery time was set at between six to eight weeks so a comeback at the start of next month is realistic.
