Regarding Alvarez's disallowed PK shot I just watched 2 new videos released by UEFA and also BBC that collaborates the correct reason on why this controversial PK shot and subsequent goal was disallowed.
Alvarez did not initially touch the ball with his left food while kicking with his right foot, the second touch occurred when he actually did kick the ball and immediately after he kicked the ball it did touch his left foot. This is where the second touch occurred.
This is why you could not see any movement of the ball when he kicked it and erroneously people thought that he never really touch the ball and the goal should have been allowed.
I now completely and fully agree and concur that the referee was absolutely correct in his decision to disallow Alvarez's goal.
Real Madrid won fair and square.
PS: I was able to find UEFA's video by searching.
I had trouble viewing the BBC video as it kept informing me that the video was unavailable in my area, I am in the US.
I used a good VPN program and supposedly connected from the UK, then I was successful in viewing the BBC video.
