The true and sad story is that Otamendi should be benched for Lisandro in the final at the second half, those errors (1st penalty and the last 120 minute save from Dibu Martinez was Otamendi erros and lack of timing) those may cost the WC. But Scaloni trust him so much, was one of the best defenders in the WC with Gvardiol but at that age he cannot play 120 minutes against more phisical players. Lissandro was allways the better option for the second halfs subs.. the only mistake during the final for Scaloni.
