This was a very unexpected but very pleasant surprise, especially having started a few reserves AND against the bogeyman of a team that we've never won against in the regular season. What a win! C'mon 5eattle! Hope we can field our best line up against Cruz Azul.
This makes my weekend!
Celtic x Seattle ๐
What an eruption? Great win
I turned the game on late and had no idea who was who… what is this line up ๐๐
Thank you guys, this game was AMAZING!
Great game. Hope PDV is ok.
Winning against french world cup winners
Twellman is very painful to listen to sometimes ๐ฎ
Man that new kit is fire
When you score 5 goals against a team who had not given one up in 4 games, it speaks volumes of Seattle's game today. Great win!
Okay, the formation works. Back four, tuck to three in posession, wing back pushes for the width in attack on the right letting the right wing act as a second ten. Just devastating all game.
The stadium being half empty vs a club rival like LAFC is sad to see icl
clinical
very much entairtening
2:14 Rothrock BEAUTIFUL golazo!
Big win against LAFC congrats to morris on becoming the all time leading scorer for the Sounders fc and congrats to Kossa-rienzi on his first mls goal
Never thought I'd be happy to hear twellman as our caster. But he's 10x better than that other guy.
I may have to rewatch this game. It was SO SO good.
As far as attendance, it's our 4th home match in 2 weeks during a cold late February/early March. Still 30k, though (even if all the Cali transplants left early after the match was cinched).
That said, the days of going big to draw crowds left with Joe Roth, sad to say. I don't think we'll see another Dempsey or Oba (or Nico or Raul) signing, or the big splashy TV ads and billboards we used to have, while Adrian is the primary owner.
Keep this going lads ๐ฏ๐ฏ
