Should Man United Buy out / TERMINATE Luke Shaw's contract?
On this issue I agree. I can't see any club buying him. Time we move him on. I feel sorry for him but we have no choice.
If this was a Local Authority he'd be referred to Occupational Health and be signed off as unfit for work. No one wants to see a player lose his/her career due to injuries, but how much longer can the club keep paying him when clearly he will never be 100% fit.
I just wonder if he stepped up his training this week with a chance of being named in the squad and it was too much for his body

Adam behave yourself, you can't just rip up contracts when they are time related. Both sides agreed a contract for a specific time period and unless there are termination clauses in said contract it will run its course unless both sides agree, transfers etc.
I was a victim of terminated employment through ill health but I didn't have a time related contract. He has.
financially enough is enough, he,s rich and done alright financially, shame I love the guy, but we need to move on unfortunately, he must realise that also..

Feel sorry for what he isn't fit enough to continue playing football ,he knew that he should hang his boots now and terminate his contract and stop robbing the club , he knows deep down its game over for him.
He won't go anywhere unless we pay in full he will just sit there earning 200k a week to be on a treatment table thing is if we off him you have to pay that 2 years off in full giving us less to spend on players

Don’t feel sorry for him one bit, he chose to play for England when injured, made it into the Final and lost and then got Injured again before the season started with Man Utd. If he didn’t have a British passport he would have known about it in the media.

I remember a time when clubs would claim off insurance for players that had to end their career due to injury, why have United and Luke Shaw not done the same, as it's clear his career is over? Mount and Martinez are looking like they need to be claimed for too.
Sure, pay his contract out and turn off potential players from signing or even resigning. Standing by players in a contact sport when they get injured should be a given.
