  1. Reports this evening that the deal has fallen through and he's having medical at Middlesbrough…
Between this and the Howe mugs youre having a shocker lol – hope the deal can still be done

  2. Celtic are on the right road great signings and will benefit the club in all manner, i can see Celtic becoming a powerhouse, and finally, the board can see that too they are no reason's why CELTIC can not be one of the best clubs in the world think big, be big, take a page of your coaches book an immigrant who will soon conquer the world stage, only because he is professional, truthful, determined

  3. Oh no, Daniel Garb is the worst judge. This doesn't bode well. Many howler calls as a pundit but his best was "this season is the most boring season in EPL and it's already all over"… Aguerooooo! Most exciting finish ever. I would of much prefer if Garby said he won't cut it, he is the opposite pundit.

  4. I could be wrong and my fellow Aussie supporters can back me up or debunk if not true, but the first time i saw Riley play was with the Joeys. I cant remember which tournament, or against which nations – but he was banging in the goals.. he looked like he was playing striker at the time. Did he ever play up front as teenager?

  5. This morning they are saying Middlesbrough have made the player a better offer. Again is this speculation or fact. It's all well and good getting on guests talking about him but it would be better practice to wait until player is announced then give the supporters the low down. Just devalues the channel and gives support false information.

  6. Surely it’s time to discount the opinions of Australians on the basis of outrageous subjective bias 😂 I take it this guy Garb voted Jason Donovan for the Ballon D’or? Flange has everyone drinking the Koolaid – but same points and GD as last year under Lennon who was having the “stinker of all stinkers of a season” isn’t fooling moi. This McGree lad was getting splintered bum cheeks for the mighty Birmingham City last year and now we’re fawning over Flange wooing him with his snore inducing football to come to Celtic (which now looks like he’s off to ‘Boro). “The untapped market of Iranian football” – am I dreaming? Has the manager of Celtic FC actually said this and we are just accepting it as if it’s not ludicrous. Strange times indeed.

  7. He's not an out and out winger, he's not a straight striker, he's not a tough holding midfielder, but he is fit relentless, will cover the whole pitch and plays short passes in and around the box i.e. Ange's style of player. But he's still new, great potential, but not the finished article or straight in the first team kind of player.

  8. Looking like he's not gonna be joining the Celtic party. Not bothered think Celtic can get someone just as good or better for a better price.

  9. Confused why Daniel believes it is a step up to play in SPL from the Championship….. The Championship must be close to the next league down from EPL, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1….. 24 teams with any team capable of winning on the day…… Would Celtic or Rangers get out of the Championship with their current squads? No doubt Celtic is a huge club and the pressure to win is massive but the league is not a strong one so I have no doubts Riley will succeed and it may lead to a Premier League offer.

  10. If you ask me we dodged a bullet with Riley, viewed as a leader lol, he got sacked from that role in jnrs for errors off the pitch that leaders do not do, when he got to play with the men he showed he is anything but a leader. Leaders do the hard things, leaders can hold the ball at feet, leaders have strength, leaders don't take the easy option. He is a playmaker #10 with nice touch and pace, that is it and how out of nowhere he is regarded as anything but baffles me. Let Borough take him no problems. Also has any one here seen Birmingham play this season? Languishing in championship and miserable at best, last game FA Cup vs Plymouth failed to get a shot on target… any form line drawn through BC FC should be taken with a grain of salt.

  11. Wtf is Charlie Nicholas talkin about sayin Riley Mcgree obviously chose Boro over Celtic for money. Let's have it right even if the money is better it'd only be slightly better and the real reason is the prospects Boro can offer above Celtic who are ln my eyes a club going knowhere whereas Boro are in the playoffs and can offer realistic hope of premier League football. I'd rather ply my trade in league 1 than the Scottish premiership because it's on par in terms of standard. The only way Riley was gonna sign for Celtic was if he had to return to MLS who in my eyes is also on par with Scottish premiership and probably pay him more

  12. O'Riley will have twice the career this guy will. Joined a team and manager that will make waves across Europe in the next few years. This daft lad chased a quick buck. See ya.
