Is Declan Rice Really a TRAITOR?! 👀

  1. As a west ham fan I can't say anything bad about Rice. Won his first (and possibly last) trophy at West ham, the club gained £100mil to reinforce in the squad which they did, and Rice can progress in his career. He's a future England captain and may return to west ham in a few years. Think he's alright by me ⚒️

  2. No, he’s not a traitor. He went to a bigger club. Only the most thick-skulled West Ham fans would deny it. Yes, it hurt. But relegation battles are beneath him. When we were finishing 6th and 7th, there might have been more leverage to get him to stay, but we regularly claim to be an ambitious club, and we fail to showcase that ambition. We can’t blame our lads for wanting to move on when they could achieve more at another club. Granted, it hasn’t happened for him yet, but it will. Even if it doesn’t happen with Arsenal, it will happen. As for the future, we’ll always have banter with Declan. “Just a Shit Andy Irving” is just banter. I love the lad, I’ll always be wishing him the best.

  3. West Ham think they're actually that big, bro helped them to an actual trophy then left. He is a traitor in the National Teams, though. Ireland could have had a pretty damn good team if wll these players actually chose to represent them.

  4. I think for a lot of us we loved him like he was our own! And watching him week after week only getting better and better we all knew we had something special. He loved us and we loved him.

I believe the reason there is so much bitterness amongst West Ham fans is because we all know really just how good he was and to see him go to a club like Arsenal who have never really appreciated the players they have had over the years plus it being a London rival hurt. Especially when we know he could do so much more.

    Hope that helps.

P.S I don’t hate Arsenal.. I just don’t know if they truly know just how good Dec was for West Ham.

  5. I’m not a West Ham fan but we can all admit that you don’t go from one London club to another, unless it’s Crystal Palace or Brentford.👍🏻👍🏻

  6. Arsenal didn't won the PL tho…
The timing was the reason, west ham had created a world class team at the time, won a European competition, constantly getting better in PL, they were trying to do what Aston villa did and when he left for arsenal they (arsenal) wasn't actually a PL contender so he went because the brand arsenal + a bigger contract.
Yes imo he is a traitors if he left Current West Ham for Current Arsenal then it would be a good opportunity and that's all…
Keep in mind that He joined Arsenal from West ham whilst he started at Chelsea, those are 3 LONDON clubs and with the hype Rice had he could go anywhere else, Arsenal are Rivals of West ham, with all those things on the table it was a disrespectful move towards West Ham so it makes sense.

Edit: I forgot that he played for Ireland but since he got recognition he rejected his country to play for England, the whole situation makes him disgusting in my eyes

  7. Said he wanted to win everything, which no fan disagreed with. However then joined a team who don’t win anything, and refused to entertain city which meant we couldn’t sell him for as much.

Add to that, most the boos are just pantomime football fans, and it works to get in his head. He’s lost 3/5 games against us since
