Bruno is not a good type of player for Man U. His strategy is to throw as many balls into the final third as possible, regardless of how many will actually connect with a teammate. That CAN’T happen on a team as defensively frail as United is currently. You do that for teams that are well organized and defensively sound. Last I checked Bruno was in the bottom 10th percentile for pass completion rate for midfielders
Would the current United side be better? Is that an actual question? What you're probably asking is "would United be better if they sold Fernandez and overhauled the entire midfield and attacking 3 with money they got for him" and the answer to that is still probably "no" but it's at least plausible. Cool video title tho.
I know that it’s popular to suggest Bruno’s style of play isn’t suited for Utd, but fundamentally, anyone that is actually watching Utd week in and week out knows that this is just not the case. He’s levels above anyone else in the squad. Replace him and kdb and city are doing better this season and overall city do similarly with him any time since he joined the league. KDB struggles to look half the player he is in this Utd team.
bruno's been immense for portugal or united. the rasmus comments that's not tactical its psychological. everything is delayed exactly as james described he's not flowing off instincts timing is all off. he tries too hard thought is the enemy of flow.
bruno has been by far portugal's most dangerous attacker and player with vitinha. hoijlund doesn't sort footwork to get shots off. behind a gyokeres to learn all the tricks hes a different player in europe because he doesn't get bullied. its maturity he didn't start at atalanta as much as united. hold up play naturally gets striker involved thats his biggest struggle but like gyokeres should be his strength. he and darwin remind me of each other they just want to run onto balls in space but the premier league isnt that open not even liverpool are able to carry darwin. have to do more hes got great attitude though just not the tools yet he was rushed/forced way too fast victim of haaland city frenzy.
loose spending antony, mount, casemiro, rasmus, shaw, rashford, under previous regime that sealed united's fait after a decade of decline. lisandro and bruno worth it with summer signings very smart ,and dorgu at 30 mil 40k/week ideal for ruben sporting philosophy. there for the play not the pay. its why so many are having culture shock. hes serious manager for unserious squad of entitled youth and few senior passengers. he moved on 25 his first year at sporting . if we can unload 12 we can change the energy get guys who run for fun not just bruno. zirkzee with guys zipping off him like at sporting would be very successful !
Answer before I watch the video (which I will) based on the title… No because the other 10 are muck. Maybe if we get better players, we can talk
Thank you James. Goodness gracious. Bruno is not the problem

Don't think this guy have too much of a clue what he's talking about
The whole point about Bruno not being at his best in tournaments for Portugal is bullocks because he was quite clearly their best player at the 2022 World Cup and was playing out of his skin
Bruno should not be the Man U captain. Bruno should not even play for Man U at all. They dont deserve him. He should exit and actually get his flowers at a club that can utilize his talent.
Bruno Fernandez is not fit to be a captain in the Sunday Leagues. Amorin leaving him as captain is a joke and probably the reason they've struggled so significantly since his arrival.
JJ Waffler with some absolute dross
If I was Bruno, I may have pushed for a move a while ago
Yes, the pay is good but you're just not going to get the most out of your career at that club even if you manage to avoid the curse that all the other players are effected by. And the constant media scrutany would annoy me, if not actually very negatively affect my emotional state
Nah, Manchester united won't be better without Bruno unless They change the transition of play getting João Gomes/Morten Hjulmand along side Kobbie Mainoo in the midfield and probably sign a winger that can cut edges and score like Gordon of Newcastle united.
the answer to the title of the video is OBVIOUSLY NOT
Where can we see the full episode of this?
No
If Bruno played for a functional team he would be a contender for the Balon D'Or. United fans adore Bruno Fernandes and his 'flaws' are a by product of the team being terrible
JJ i can not believe you believe Bruno doesn't look important for Portugal? Sorry, but that is the worst take i have ever heard from you, simply because statistically it is false. as someone else in the comments mentioned " fernandes for Portugal in the last 18 months;
23 games
12 goals
11 assists "
Daft take
Bruno was never the problem, he works his bollocks off in every game
JJ is speaking facts, great player but the wants to be everything to everyone at all times and ends up running around like a madman, leaving spaces and gaps in and out of possession.
JJ has no idea what he is talking about. Jon Mckenzie is the person at Tifo who has insight. I watch every United game and while Bruno is not perfect, his effort, commitment and tenacity in an extremely difficult situation (where almost every other United player is underperforming massively) have earned my heartfelt respect and gratitude.
