Lakers center Anthony Davis has been sidelined indefinitely with a foot injury after colliding with Nikola Jokic during Friday’s game against the Nuggets. Nick explains the injury is devastating for the Lakers and starts to raise the question on whether Anthony Davis’ body is built to play competitively. Nick looks to the Lakers playoff hopes without Davis and believes LeBron will have to pick up the slack or the Lakers will have to make a deal later in the season to stay competitive.

  1. I like that Bev + Nunn, + pick (only one though) for Boggy. Dropping trou to get rid of Russ is no longer a great idea b/c for all his faults, he's been a net positive in the last 3-4 weeks.

  2. Tried this on the ESPN trade machine and it works: Bev/Nunn/Bryant/JTA and a 1st for Turner/Theis, then flip Theis and two 2nds (or top10 protected 1st, overpay?) for Reddish.

  3. AD was a 6'1" pg who grew 9 inches over a summer. What's going on is obvious: He still plays like a small man. Watch any video of him. All his injuries have come from him making awkward moves because he's never been comfortable going straight up like a big man should. He's always leaning and flailing. It's all in his head.

  4. Nick can u please use ur media super powers yo find out ad’s diet? Is he vegan or plant based? Or junk? Cause he seems like he is lacking in protein/collagen/animal fat. Just asking.

  5. Nick is correct. An underachieving veteran team like Chicago is going to wise up sooner or later. It aint working. And in the NBA there is no point in being kind of anything. Either be good or be in a straight up rebuild.

  6. Great players like Aaron Rogers, Tom Brady, are on teams that aren't really playing well and having a down year. If Lakers make it into the play in or playoffs they are realistically not going past the early rounds. So why go all in and waste assets for an early exit? Build for the future.

  7. LeBron will be eclipsing Kareem’s record this season, but it’s going to be tarnished by the fact that LA will be sub .500 when it happens 🤦‍♂️

  8. The Lakers need to decide what their goal is this season
Are they going for a title, or just getting to the 2nd round of the playoffs?
Or just making the playoffs? That would be much more realistic.
They won 30-something games last year. This will never be a championship team, so…..
