With the recent injury to centre-back Hayden Matthews, there is growing concern around Australia’s defensive options. With Harry Souttar and Alessandro Circati also out with injury, we could potentially see some new in-form players receive call-ups with Asian World Cup Qualifiers just around the corner.

Its a pity Dan Hall got his injury when he did. Hes back next week for Auckland. Hopefully gets his legs back before the start of the playoffs
Would be pretty surprised if the back three wasn't Rowles, Burgess and Geria. Both wingback spots look up for grabs as well given our lack of depth there, would like to see Elder and Karacic get recalled
It's the one area of the pitch I'm comfortable we have a range of options who could step up. Someone I'm surprised you didn't mention is Trent Sainsbury. Admittedly that early season injury set him back a bit and he hasn't been his best yet, but I do not think he would let the National team down and he has a hell of a lot of experience at that level.
The plays preferably have to be playing each week in most cases. TONY is an expert and we have faith he will choose players worthy of being presented a national jersey at international level. I'm sure the staff are in contact with all our players and communicating well . The under 21 players are all deserving of a call up
A couple people I think that should be called up is Ollie Jones had a brilliant spell at Macarthur and he is doing decent at randers and another player is Nector Triantis, And another player I think that has been class is Mark Natta for Newcastle jets but I think he needs to prove him self a little more in the next few games for jets and another player who if he is fit is Curtis Good, as I am commenting you just mentioned Triantis 😂
