Iran needs to fix this situation before the world cup comes. If they don't do that then it will have a not so good of a world cup. I do hope Iran does fix this situation before it gets worse and have a good world cup campaign in Qatar
You the Media and we the people are making it a mess sacking a successful manager just because we assume that he cannot do it in the big stage basing everything one one friendly not even wanting to give him the chance to play against Uruguay & Senegal instead wanting to bring a an expensive manager who has failed in 9 major tournaments with Iran Portugal and Colombia and Egypt failure after failure thinking somehow this time he can do it !!! This mentality is the dumbest mentality I have seen in 33 years of watching football ! zero rational pure emotion zero respect and nothing else can be said !!!
One thing that worries me is that with getting Queiroz back as the Head coach the team Melli will mainly focus on playing more defensiv tactics especially because we´re in a hard group.

regardless of the coaching outcome unfortunately we have bigger problems on our hands as our three top strikers are in trouble. Allayar sayadmanesh picked up a hamstring injury and will most likely miss the World Cup. taremi just picked up any injury and seems like he might miss the call up for the World Cup camp coming up this September. azmoun just got removed from the starting lineup at leverkusen due to bad form and bad performance over the last few matches. I think especially if we are missing our top strikers it would make most sense to have carlos queiroz back as we will be forced to play a defensive style regardless.

as an iranian just wanted to say that corruption is all over the country. no matter if it's football or anything else there is always a guy who stole a massive amounts of money and ran away or tried to ran away from the country. they eventually fired the coach but still there is a questionable amount of money being missed or stolen. this happens everytime.
