Michael Oliver was getting abused a couple weeks back, on the airwaves I consistently heard that he is the best referee we have in this country as defence. Fact is, he is an appalling referee. People accused him of bias, I think it may be worse that the decisions he makes are not rooted in bias, rather he is an atrocious referee.
I heard the argument that the keeper was using his leg to defend himself but he isn't, at no point does he try to get the ball with his hands, he's attempted to kick the ball.
Why not show Ben Chilwell's beautiful hit off the crossbar when other missed chances were shown? That one was another wonderful moment in this game to get us fans excited about what Chilwell can do for us here.
It's assault, pure and simple. The keeper isn't a kid, he's 30 with plenty of experience and very proud of our Chairman during a live HT BBC interview calling him out as wreckless. The fact referee Oliver didn't check state of Mateta (big cut behind his ear that was bleeding) is shameful, those medics should've been on immediately. He literally had others in his ear to make him do his job properly, waste of time him being on the pitch.
Tanganga got sent off the last time he came to SP with Spuds and now scores an OG plus an assist, what a legend!
Nice having the thugs in SE25, taking us older fans back and the younger fans getting a taste of 1983 with their odious chants, bad behaviour and massive 5-o presence. The Football Association will know we've done everyone going forward a massive favour by knocking them out of the competition. UTP.

I’ve never liked Michael Oliver & never understood how he rated a top flight job as an official.
This simply clinched it, he’s not up to the job, never has been. Anyone who needed to go to the screens to know that was a red is a joke.

I get the keeper wants to come out and challenge, although he did not really need to as two defenders were there, but what he did would land him in jail if he did that in the high street, he should fined by his club 1 years wages for that and the FA will give him a very long ban and maybe an anger management course to go on

Spurs fan here. I seriously think that goalkeeper needs to be banned for at least a season for that, I understand it's a contact sport but that was short of gbh.
Reckless from the keeper. That's it for me. Not an intentional foul but the fact of the matter it deserves a red and a 3 game ban. He either has to head that or use his feet and unfortunately his leg is going to go that high.
