Heard it all before! our luck is non existent when it comes to winning a trophy and it doesn't help matters when the players look tired or disinterested like they have the last month or so I'd gladly give up staying in the prem and selling our best players just to win that league cup final to actually say I've seen Newcastle win something in my life time

These comments from players like Bruno annoy me. The implication is that negativity from fans is what's causing the players to not perform. it's total BS. there's a mentality problem within the team and all though i've never been a "Howe Out" it has to stem for the manager and his coaching staff. he can't seem to keep the team focused. the lack of new signings is not a valid excuse, there enough quality in the team to be performing better.
Always questioned if Bruno was right for captain. But he's stood up here, got on him. Gonna take a lot but he's right. Good on him.

I will judge Bruno on his actions not words, to many times this season he`s put out this lets stick together message. He`s the captain of a dressing room that is falling apart.
without stating the obvious, the squad isn’t strong enough for week in week out games. Over reliance on the same players. No inspiration off the bench. 3 transfer windows and nout. No plan b or c when getting beat. That’s why we are where we are. Toon army!
Big respect to Bruno for issuing that statement. We all know how passionate he is about the game and this club. We do need to stay United, and that includes not having a go at AG. We need to support him, not put him down when he's no doubt already feeling low as heck! HWTL. United Forever!
Lads, as a Liverpool supporter, I realise I'm sticking my head in the lions mouth, here. I have a lot of respect for Newcastle United, love coming to St. James Park the atmosphere is always electric, the Toon Army are as passionate about your football as we are.
I agree what you said about big Virgil, I thought it was a least a yellow card, every team has had some dodgy discissions against them in recent seasons. Keep your heads up, good luck for the rest of the season, get that top four spot. Obviously I hope we beat you at Wembley but its a cup final you never know.

Gordon knows he’s capable of so much more, and he doesn’t understand why he can’t deliver, hence the lashing out in frustration.
Until we get the squad depth that teams like Liverpool have had for decades we’re have to use intensity and that brings with it the flip-side of fatigue.

As a Newcastle supporter I hate to say it but, anyone who thinks that Newcastle can win on the 16th is living in a dream world. I've said it before but if a club goes three windows without bringing in a single player they seriously cannot expect to get results. They can barely put together a starting 11. I have strong doubts that anything will get done in the summer either. The club has become the new Arsenal, a selling club. They need a much better infrastructure, a decent sporting director, a new manager, new backroom staff. Clearly the current system isn't working.
Bruno – legend, can't believe how spoilt people are acting on here. It took Liverpool 30 years and a billion quid to win the league – and they were already a brand – the whole 70 years without a trophy thing has been blown out of all proportion, loads of teams haven't won a trophy for donkeys years
We are in the second final in three years…. With a squad that shouldn't even get near a final. We need to chill the fuck down man, we will only get stronger and stronger, PIF won't be held back forever. We have had two issues since the takeover.. Not eddie out but what are we expecting when we cant bring new bodies in loads players need to shape up or ship out players like willock , barnes need to step up when given chance .lets face facts we have over achieved from where we where under Ashley. Massively frustrating as we are still alot better and have put in some good performances this season but still very sloppy and personally think teams are doing to us what we used to teams but lets face it top 10 and being in champions league plus 2 cup finals since takeover is still decent returns lets see what happens in summer with transfers. Up the fuckin mags!!!

The only plus side i can take is that most of the teams left in init are the teams around us in the league and if they're anything like us they might take there eye of the ball in the league, thinking about the Cup… hopefully! Don't get me wrong i would rather us be init but we're not soooo…!
