I know it is Jims job to play devils advocate on this show, but that is honestly a ridiculous take on things. Injuries happen and usually happen during match level intensity, even though this was a "high" intensity training session, it's hardly comparable to match intensity. So the take that they are to blame themselves for training during midweek is annoyingly stupid.

Arteta sold off all strikers who would challenge Kai Harvertz, including chido Martin …He us just obsessed with Kai, he is just lying, he couldn't get a striker with Harvertz in place, Arteta deserves it, end if the season.

Odegaard was never Arsenal's X-factor, he's a player that makes their system tick like Firmino did for Liverpool. Being the X-factor is about defying the system and game state, i.e. goals/chances created against the run of play, goals/chances created from unthreatening positions, particularly winning goals and equalizers. Liverpool's X-factors are Trent and Salah who can both create and score chances out of absolutely nothing. Arsenal's only X-factor is Saka.

Arsenal have 6 attacking players, 3 of whom have serious long term injury. The question was never about numbers it was about upgrading on Havertz. We could easily have bought a player who also got injured, it's a stupid argument. Also, what quality striker could you get in January? No one will sell their top no. 9.
