Raheem Sterling has told BBC Sport he is not a “money-grabbing 20-year old” after confirming he has turned down a new £100,000-a-week Liverpool deal. He also says he will not discuss a new contract with the Reds until the summer, no matter how big a deal he might be offered in the meantime. “It’s not about the money at all,” the England forward said. “It’s never been about money. I talk about winning trophies throughout my career. That’s all I talk about.”

I’m Liverpool fan and I can say you made the right decision for your career. I would of loved to see a front three of sterling mane and salah but that would be narrow minded and selfish. The boy has gone on to win titles and play under a manager who has hugely improved the consistency of his performance. Oh and he’s making more than 100,000 a week. Wise lad, I tip my hat to you.

Damn, even Sterling has won 2 PL titles, gaining most points in a single season with Manchester City. Seems to me that everybody won in the end!
Plus, £100,000 a week is nothing now (in terms of Football anyway) considering Jesse Lingard gets that now, and he does nearly nothing, playing a sporadic role at Manchester United.

If the club wanted to sell you, you had 2 options your dream club who are prepared to pay Liverpool 10 million or a lesser club with a rich owner prepared to pay £100 million who do you think Liverpool would sell to.
