As Transfer Deadline Day fast approaches, Southampton currently have 10 injuries to the squad and are frantically trying to get a few deals across the line before Tuesday night. Manolo Gabbiadini, Napoli forward looks likely to sign for Saints before the deadline for a region of £15-17 million bolstering the forward line. In other news, Mouez Hassen, French goalkeeper of Nice looks also set to link up with Claude Puel once again to act as back-up for Fraser Forster. Finally, German defender Serdar Tasci of Spartak Moscow has been reported to be on the verge of a loan move to the St. Mary’s with an option to sign in the summer for defensive cover.

Austin had a ratio of a goal every 6 games? really mate? has he played 54 games this season then?
we really need to just get in as many players as we possibly can because the squad is looking extremely thin at the moment, not confident at all with our defence, I really think we need to go for sakho from Liverpool as well as tasci
Pretty sure Hassan is younger than Lewis so makes that point pretty invalid
Looks promising – if we get the centre-half Tasci as well. Do we need the 'keeper really? Understand Forster doesn't have much competition, but maybe we need a different GK coach? England keepers aren't brilliant at the moment. Another experienced Centre midfielder is badly needed.

agree 100% with what Luke said. 2 cbs one on loan and one for long term. tasci seems ideal for the loan. I wish they would consider Fabian schar. he had a fantastic euros, was linked with us in the summer and isn't a crucial player in his club.
Enjoyable show, thank you. As with pronunciations, the French never pronounce a H . Other than that we will have to wait for Claude to talk about him. Les has generally done well in the macadoe so fingers crossed. Although he will take a while to get used to the premiere league. I just watched a video of him on youtube and was amazed at the amount of space he was given. He will not get that in our league.
Gabbiadini scored 5 goals this season not 3, but 1 every 120 minutes. He suffered also injury and was disqualified 2 weeks for a red card. He also scored 4 goals in a friendship match in august against Monaco (leader of League 1). His role is second striker in a 4-2-3-1 or 3-5-2
