  1. You have to dig up not even half chances to make a highlight. You could just post the truth, Liverpool just bossed it and we were a no show. Dubravka must be fuming watching that circus out there. I am sure the manager will come up with some tried and tested sound bites. Cup final is going to be a slaughter when Liverpool play on the front foot.

  2. Hilarious football club. Rubbish overrated Howe can't even beat the so-called rubbish Ten Hag worst United side ever in his last ever final, what do you lot think he can beat Arne Slot and Liverpool?? 😂😂 Deluded fans. Newcastle are the Spursy of the North. To Dare is to win nothing FC

  3. 0:40 and 1:35. On both goals, we get caught on the counterattack. All our players are running desperately back with their backs to the ball and then simply waiting for Liverpool to get into shooting range. Instead, we should be aggressive and press the opponent right after losing possession. This shows that against strong teams, we need to play with three central defenders and be more compact in the middle. Hopefully, we will line up in a 5-4-1 formation in the final – just like we did against Arsenal in the second leg of the semifinal.

  4. A small concern. Did you notice the situation during Newcastle's free kick at the start of the second half? Schar had the ball. He has scored from that distance before. Suddenly, Gordon stepped in. I can't read lips, but Schar didn’t exactly look like he agreed. He handed the ball to Gordon with a mix of a grin and a resigned expression.

Why was Gordon taking the free kick? It was fairly far out, and as far as I know, he has never scored directly from a free kick for Newcastle. The attempt wasn’t impressive either. Today, it’s probably only Schar and Szoboszlai who remember it.

But you don’t get many chances against Liverpool. And that’s why it’s crucial that the best free-kick taker takes the shot.

The day Gordon learns to take a corner that doesn’t constantly get headed away by the first defender, then maybe he can be considered part of the set-piece specialist group. But not before.

  5. Its shame that from just 2 bad games and our fanbase retired Nick Pope, a guy who was considered England number 2 not long ago I mean Mbape couldn't score against him from 20 attempts in Paris the guy doesn't deserve this and yes hes much better then Dubs

  6. Would love to know what the players think to not even having a shot on target in 90 mins????? No start for Miley yet again, and as for Pope I mean cmon man at least dive will you? I would rather see Odysseas Vlachodimos starting!

  7. Got the impression that we were happy to limit the damage. Pope was awful. Bruno may as well have stayed in bed. Gordon isn't a right winger but doesn't seem convinced that he's a left one either. Wilson? I dare not comment. (Isak would have stayed on-side and scored and would have beaten the keeper with the second chance. We don't have balance, always seem lopsided with repetitive options. Season will fizzle out unless Howe can organise them more effectively – difficult with Bruno operating as a loose cannon all of the time.

  8. Woeful, unacceptable and indefensible. And you know it. Too many of those this season – compared to some stunning performances – night verses day.

  9. Eddie has spent almost 500 million and we have 3 top level players isak Tonali and hall. Maybe Botman but he’s always injured. The rest are average to shite.
