Balde is insane, actually the perfect profile LB for us
Blade after injuries pissed me off, not for any injury related stuff! But his decision making and lack of confidence in both attacking and defending but he would rarely pass inside when Pedri or Casado makes open space and offers an option! But wow! Hes changed everything! The way he decides his team is static and just attacks like crazy! Just wish he manages to pass when he goes in those dribbles

Watching Balde , I think his biggest drawback is the inability or want to use his right foot.

I don't think the reason why Flick is asking for someone else in the position is because of any of Balde's weakness, instead it's the risk of injuries and physical fatigue that makes it necessary to have at least someone to be able to rotate with the two, because if either Balde or Kounde get injured the level drops off a lot

The only thing bad about him is that his crosses and passes are so off most of the times it is a waste of possession, if he can work on that he will be a solid player
This season he improved in attack a lot compared to last season but he is still a bad at defending. He loses almost every 1v1 against attackers but because he is fast he is good at recovering the ball from long passes behind the defense. He is still one of the best, top5 maybe but there is a lot for him to improve. We had top top full backs like Jordi Alba and Dani Alves recently and it's not fair to compare him to this insanely high level but hopefully Balde can reach that some day

I've always been on Balde's side, people were always too harsh on him.
This season he has taken the hall left side to him.
The way he inverts towards the midfield is just the same as Marcelo (no to the same level, but not very far behind)
People think that it's crazy to say he is the best, but they don't understand how weak the competition is. I think that because we play with almost no LW, no one does what he does both defensively and attacking.

Balde is only 21 and Cubarsi is 18. Pique was 22 when he signed with Barcelona and Jordi Alba was 23, and they had maybe 3 or 4 seasons of experience playing first division football. Balde is in the middle of his third season as a professional and Cubarsi started playing halfway last season. They're already really good and they're improving. We have to keep in mind how young our players are. Cubarsi, Balde, Fort, Eric García, Casado, Pedri, Gavi, Fermín López, Lamine Yamal, Pau Víctor… they're all under 23, which is mental.

Balde is cooking, in large part to his press resistance and dribbling. End product is better, but not great. One thing that concerns me is that he has lost a lot of speed since his injury. He used to leave defenders for dead. Now they run with him.
Our fullbacks are very good but the only problem is that they play almost every match and they are tired we saw it in the Atleti match, if they buy one more fullback they can rotate

Cubarsi is the best center back we have lool Inigo is a close second if we're talking about total packages. Araujo has the best physical attributes and 1 on 1 but has glaring weaknesses as well + being injury prone. Balde has always been defensively sound.
