Andre Onana | Cameroonian Goalkeeper Skills

André Onana (fr. André Onana; born April 2, 1996, Nkol Ngoc) is a Cameroonian footballer, goalkeeper of the Dutch club Ajax and the Cameroon national team.

Andre is a graduate of the famous Samuel Eto’o Academy. In 2010 he joined the Barcelona system and played for their teams for five years. In January 2015, Andre moved to Ajax Amsterdam. Initially, he played for the second team of this club in Oerstedivizi, in the 2016/17 season the goalkeeper was transferred to the first. His debut in the Dutch top division took place on 20 August 2016 against Willem II.

In February 2021, he was disqualified for 12 months for doping. The banned drug furosemide was found in Onana’s doping test. In the official statement of “Ajax” it is argued that the drug got into the player’s body by accident – he mistakenly took his wife’s medicine.
