  1. I love martinez not because he actually won the world cup. Believe me, for everyone this guys scorned, such had it coming. This guy is a punishment to evil minds and doers. What gives me great Joy about him is he took the opportunity of finding motivations from the right thing as his motivation for being a world figure today goes beyond his love for Argentina. It is his love for Messi.

  2. i am convinced most people dont watch PL or football in general. The world cup made to many people have a opinion who only watched the WC. This guy is a very average keeper at Aston Villla. But congrats to him he keeped good this tournament maybe he will be better now.

  3. He has won a world cup medal. He can just play for a third tier league team in Faroe Islands for the rest of his career, he won't care. Fuck other medals.

  4. He went to a football club that appreciate and love him, Aston Villa. Since then becoming the keeper he always destined to become. Now his Country are reaping the rewards.

  5. His head has to often hit the post, otherwise i can't understand his behavior like a 12 year old stupid child. It is really hard to like him. Children watch this psychopath too and he is not behaving like a adult would do and be a role model for them.

  6. Messi was excellent, but it's out and out Emi Martinez who won Argentina the world cup which they may not have very well deserved. For me, he is the real hero of the side.

  7. I regret the day Arsenal let him go even thou am a Argentine supporter but he's really a great character similar to Ramsdale very active an entertaining!!!

  8. The comments from Mbappe about European vs South American soccer I can understand his perception, he is only 23 and it has been 20 years since last time a South American team won, but on the other hand he should know that when people talk about the best player ever only 3 South American players are in that conversation, Pelé, Maradona and Messi. Plus he plays with plenty of South American players in Europe, they are there for one reason, they are good.

  9. I feel Martinez and Donnarumma r the best keepers amongst the current crop…sad that Italia didn't qualify and Donnarumma's skills were surely missed in this Cup

  10. As a South American we always knew about Dibu. Having your national team try to score against that guy is seriously a hit to morale.

He was always great, difference is that now Europe knows it.

  11. from his body language you just can see how much he loves the big stage! he just loves having the challenge of being a goal keeper…. definitely a start of the WC! France is a very good team and you can see the next decade could be theirs….they definitely missed Benzema in the front! but MBappe made it look easy without him… was surprised to see Giroud being replaced before halftime! he was actually making his presence felt! all in all Messi was the king and truly deserved to win the WC!
