  1. I think lose against Stoke and he'll be gone…Cos can you imagine the atmosphere at home against Derby if he dosent go and we lose also…Mark Robbins always seems to have our number and I think Tuesday will be the same….I said we could lose the Sunderland game and possibly the next 4 after…I never hoped that I'd be almost right….Just hope he turns things round but I can't see it Phil…

  2. It doesn't help, when you got players on the interchange each week and maybe only a couple come on Outta desperation at the 80 plus minutes mark. When most opposition coaches have already made 4 or more at the 60 minutes mark. Other Managers have probably worked out rather Michael Carrick rather won't make changes until it's the 80 plus minutes mark or they obviously believe he doesn't trust making changes earlier. Take your pick, but it does have an impact having 4 or 5 lots of fresh legs on doing damage. Before he's decided to be reactive.

  3. I feel sorry for Carrick, he hasn't helped himself with recruitment or his use of subs but I think the players have massively let him down this season havent got a set of balls between them they've been a disgrace

  4. Gibson sacked Southgate when we were 2nd,and this clueless inept morbid statue has had 3years and about 25million to make us worse, infact total dog turd, going nowhere at all with him… constantly out thought ,totally inactive and outright boring, get rid of him and his brother!

  5. Love your team pick Phil, I'd argue thats our strongest 11 without Doak. I see Borges as the defensive option, Giles as the attacking option. I don't get why Carrick doesn't use subs with better timings. With your starting 11 we've got ihenacho for conway/azaz – iling junior for burgzorg, giles for borges. All of those are 60-70 minutes plus attack options. I actually think Carrick stays possibly for another year. I've said this in other places, there aren't a lot of managers who would put up with 2 seasons in a row selling your best striker. Carrick may stay because he's the type of man who fits our model as a club. Now if we sell hackney and van den berg in the summer and look like we've got a warchest for a rebuild I recon it could happen. We lack depth and like for like replacements. Our current issue is asking players to play out of position which should be an emergency thing till injuries are done. Speaking of, can we please sack the chefs at rocklife, how many bloody 'illnesses' have we had this season!
