  1. i really dont give a fudge. there's no obligation on his part to play for england or to even want to. fair play to him. im english, love football but don't give a diddly about the national team

  2. Gareth Southgate has gone, Tuchel is now in charge and Ben White wants to throw his toys out the pram again after possibly being given a new chance to join the national team. If it's down to mental health or personal issues, then I wont get on his case, but if it's anything other than that, then he deserves the criticism he gets.

  3. YET AGAIN, people moaning about the white / southgate issue…. you know it must have been serious when NO STAFF OR PLAYER has talked about the situation once, not even any leaks….
leave the personal issue between them alone – it was never about playing for england it was 2 men having serious issues, simple. and ben white not wanting to play for southgate.

  4. All these pundits basing their opinions on nothing but a vague statement from Southgate……imbeciles…..anyone who watches Ben White knows fully well he gives everything on the pitch and pretty much played through last season carrying an injury

  5. Why is there a 1 year anniversary segment on Ben White not being called up.

    Very weird.

Ben White also been injured since Southgate left, so has had no chance to make a squad.

Ben White also never said he doesnt like football.

Ben White loves football, he loves playing football, but doesn't enjoy watching football.

That isn't uncommon, many legends like Ronaldinho & R9 do not enjoy or even watch football, openly stating it.

Nobody would ever accuse Ronaldinho & R9 of disrespecting football for not watching it.

Yet that is the stick being used to beat Ben White with.

Ben White came from a family who do not watch football, his father hated football which he mentioned, that's where that myth around him 'not loving football'.

Ben White said he doesn't watch football, came from an environment where his father despised football, his mother doesn't watch it either.

I'm sure they don't even watch there sons games.

Yet Ben White had a passion for football coming from that environment, with him playing football regularly in his garden with him having family friends play with him.

Ben White talk is painting him as some entitled, soft player whose had it easy.
Ben White by no means has had an easy route in football, yet being spoke on like he is some spoilt brat.

He's overcame so many obstacles in football & in life.

Ben White from 18 months old till he was 8 years old he was on antibiotics & in & out of hospital with him having a severely weak immune system & several allergies.

He could not function as a normal child, let alone aspire to be a footballer.

He overcame all that with him then no longer having health concerns & no allergies.
He then started playing several sports before getting into the famous Southampton academy at 8.

Ben White after half his life playing at Southampton was then released at 16 years old, that being another massive setback.

He then got picked up by Brighton, who loaned him out to League 2 at Newport with him as a thin teenager playing in a physically demanding league, earning his teammates at respect, earning Newport player of the year.

He then was loaned out to league 1 in Peterborough before that big loan spell in the Championship at Leeds under Bielsa that put him on the map with Liverpool & City links.

Ben White was the main CB in Leeds championship winning season, taking them to the PL.

Then Ben White finally got to play for Brighton in the PL during 2020/21 season, earning Brighton player of the season before a £50m move to arsenal.

Ben White has never had issues with demanding coaches & went into a league 2 dressing room as a teenager on loan from the divisions above, yet earned his teammates respect, which isn't easy.

Every teammate & coach he's played with at club level raves about him & his mentality.

When teammates who see you almost everyday, training & in games whether there English, Brazilian or Spanish all describe you as a warrior, then the idea he is soft or doesn't like football is so stupid.

He's somebody who pushes themselves to the limit everyday, who throws there entire body to win the ball.

Ben White played back end of his Arsenal debut season with a grade 3 hamstring, in order to help his team qualify for the UCL.

White wasn't suppose to be available & we learned from his former teammate Rob Holding that he had a grade 3 yet played.

White started last season playing through an injury because there was no cover at RB with Timber ACL + Tomiyasu injury.

White pushed himself to play every game & this season has had to have surgery.

I'm sure if there was no cover then White wouldn’t have had surgery.

  6. I was born an raised in Burundi but England is the country I cheer for in football anyway but I don’t see the big deal homies… huge Ben White fan (even tho I’m a Chelsea fan)… he is allowed to not wanna play for England I am sure he has a good reason he doesn’t wanna share it I personally respect it let the footballer be
