  1. Santos owes everything to CR7. Without the GOAT refusing to lose against Hungary, there would not be any EURO2016. Without the GOAT hat-trick against Spain in the WC2018..Santos would have been out of a job. CR7 led them in scoring in the qualifiers. In those pressurized situations, CR7 bailed Portugal over and over. Santos should never forget that.

  2. We like it when people sleep on us, we're use to it.
Bring on anybody, only true Portuguese fans backed our team and knew we will go far.
Uruguay, Ghana and South Koreas teams were nowhere near as talented as we are.

  3. No bold call, It was all part of their strategy 🤦🏻‍♂️ Ronaldo doesn’t care for being a sub. He knows he’s old , but still deadly. Their group stage team was their sub team to conserve the starters for the elimination games. Just look at the game against Nigeria.
This is just genius from Fernando Santos to throw off other coaches, plus having Ronaldo as a Super sub is his best role. Imagine seeing defenders, giving their all, and seeing Ronaldo come on in the 60th/70th min along side Goncalo Ramos, absolute nightmare!
Idiotic analysts who think Ronaldo can’t be a threat in any team as a super sub in the final 3rd 🤦🏻‍♂️

  4. I support Santos not playing ronaldo as a starter in all these games as a tactic. You cannot start ronaldo expect him to play full 90 or 120 mins and penalties after. Better you start ramos and bring in ronaldo late so if you go to extra time or penalty shootout .he will be more worthy. All remaining games ramos should start.

  5. "Said it was a tactical decision"? Sure, but it was only allowed because of Ronaldo's petulance. It's a smart tactic to bench him, but fanboys are against it; his own actions allowed it.

  6. these'pundits' are absolutly nothiung but fangirls.they fangirl over messi and argentitna then when they fail they act like its a suporise. i have ben saying portugal is my poick for winner of worlkd cup for awhile

  7. Lol at these ronaldo hating cringelords. 2xFifa best player, 5x ballon d'or, 4x uefa best player, 1 puskas, 19x top goalscorer, 1x european champion, 1 Nations league, 5x UCL winner, 3x Premier league champion, 2x La liga champion, 2x Serie a champion. Last year he carried Uniteds first half of the season, and this year he carried portugal's WC qualifiers, and got nominated for the ballon d'or. Hit him now that he's down, really shows your character.

edit: casually forgot 5x golden boots lol

  8. Never Underestimate Portugal Dude. And by the way, since when, Switzerland, was ever better in Soccer than Portugal ? 🤣 Do some history research between these 2 teams.

  9. You Brits always underestimate Portugal on Soccer. Then you get them, and you always get nailed, on penalty shots. I thing in the last encounter, even the Portuguese Goalkeeper nailed the brits scoring big time ahahahahah

  10. Give some respect to my boy Felix also he is great,, not forget either with the like of bruno, silva, pepe, dalot, these are the key💪

  11. LME tries but cannot hide his disdain for Portugal and is absolutely relishing in the fact that Ronaldo had nothing to do with their stellar performance today. The rare compliment to Portugal today was ONLY given to further offend and jab at Ronaldo.

  12. I don't think anyone has been sleeping on Portugal, in fairness they haven't showed that level of performance before in this tournament becos of he who shall not be named. Not that they've pivoted, they've shown their true colours and I'm here for it.

  13. God willing, Morocco will play the final match…Believe in yourselves a little bit…we have eliminated Belgium and Spain…what more do you want to believe that we are now competing for the title…the time has come for Africa to say its word..the time has come The time of Morocco… The ball will not continue forever, the monopoly of the Europeans and the Latins… Review the theories of the philosopher Hegel in dialectics in order to understand the movement of man, days, nations and phenomena in history

  14. Gonçalo Ramos just carried his excellent form from club football. If you've seen Benfica in the CL, you know his quality and goal scoring is not a surprise and he's not afraid of the big moment. He's already got 14 goals already this season.
Props to Portugal, some people call us underachievers because we've never won the world cup, but to regularly qualify and make it to knock out stages of WC, deep into the Euro and winning the Euro, by a country that has a population that is lower than the LA metropolitan area…
