      Ridiculous. Obviously it's easy to armchair analyze it, but the first Charlotte goal Frei should've come out and punched it clear. Then second goal Ragen appeared to initially head it to Roldan, when he should've gone for Nouhou/towards out of bounds, but then when that failed, he appeared to attempt to kick it back to Frei when he should've just kicked it out of bounds. Draw due to our own mistakes.

      Wow, former Aston Villa manager Dean Smith now head coaching Charlotte. He's a great coach, having taken Aston Villa from Championship back to Premier League in 2019. Give him much credit. Lifelong Villa fan here. And now including Sounders, of course.

      Im sick of these teams fixing matches. Its jus becoming obvious now. Fixing outcomes in prosports is highly illegal. The league should be cracking down on it.

      NOT AESTHETICALLY "mls" STILL IN 2025 "THE PITCH THE SIGN BOARDS WHY DOES THE LEAGUE DOES NOT TAKE PAGE OUT OF THE BUNDESLIGA and how they set up what we see ON TV OR IN THE STADIUM ………MEDIOCRITY" suggest some of the new people had over to watch "mls"FOR THE FIRST TIME. WHY CAN'T THIS LEAGUE

      Obviously not the result we wanted, but we looked extremely solid in transition. We completely dominated the game in every single statistic (attacking and possession wise). Unfortunate that Yeimar had that woeful own goal from Ragen's poor back pass, and Nouhou didn't mark Malanda tightly. I believe these defensive mistakes will clear up over time. That being said, very good game from Morris, played like a true DP that night. Georgi was a constant threat that entire game, this is going to be his breakout season. Ragen was great up until the very last minute of the game. Christian and Obed looked great at winning the ball back and delivering key passes. Rusnak did well setting up Morris for his second. Alex Roldan did brilliant during the build-up whilst also helping out with defensive duties. There were instances however where he didn't track back in time and it forced our defense to play a bit deeper. Rothrock didn't look great, don't think he completed a single dribble against Bryne. Nouhou was also too aggressive. Another thing i'll mention is how late Schmetzer makes his substitutions. What's the point of subbing in PDLV 5 minutes before the game ends, that's not nearly enough time to make a slight impact. Obed looked a bit clumsy towards the end of the game, subbing in JP would've been a good sub. I will say though, Arriola looked fresh coming off the bench. When all is said and done, if this is what it takes to score against the Sounders, I think we will be consistently dangerous throughout the entire season. Next up, Antiuga!
