Manchester City expert Steven McInerney from Esteemed Kompany shares his thoughts on who could leave the club during a “brutal” squad rebuild in the summer.
The Citizens signed four players in January, with three of those aged 23 or younger, and Pep Guardiola’s side are expected to target more young players this summer to address their ageing squad.
While a number of first-team stars are set to remain at the Etihad Stadium, the futures of several other senior players remain uncertain, including Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan, Ederson, John Stones, Nathan Ake, Jack Grealish and Kyle Walker, who is currently on loan at AC Milan.
Speaking to Sports Mole, McInerney discusses how many of those could depart all at once in the summer and which “legends” could be “at risk” of the chop.
