A few months ago, the football world couldn’t stop slandering Kylian Mbappé. Washed. A flop. Overrated. Every pundit, every viral clip, every debate seemed to push the same narrative—Mbappé was struggling at Madrid, and his time at the top was fading.

But now? Now, he’s proving every single hater wrong.

From a shaky start to dismantling Manchester City with a world-class performance, Mbappé’s return to form has been nothing short of elite. His chemistry with Vini and Bellingham is clicking, his confidence is back, and those early struggles? A distant memory.

So why does the football world move the goalposts when it comes to Mbappé? Why is his success met with silence while his struggles were shouted from the rooftops?

It’s time to set the record straight. This is how Kylian Mbappé reminded everyone why he is that guy.

  1. I mean you compare the goals between Raphinha and Mbappe, but they play different roles in their teams so I don't think that's fair. Mbappe is one of the better players in the world again rn though!

  2. I never said he was washed. I said he would take some time to adapt to life at Madrid (and vice versa) and the quality of play in la liga was at a higher level than the competition he played against in the door dash league and that he would take some time to learn to play alongside vinicius since they both wanna play on the left. I dont think anyone seriously believed he was washed at 24-25 simply that there would be a bit of an adjustment period and that it takes time to develop the chemistry

  3. Day (4) of asking to make a video for Filippo inzaghi
    Sir alex Ferguson said:
Normal people are born in hospital or if in a hurry in a house but he was born at the offside line
    Mourinho said :
I don't care if ac milan came on to the field with 10 attackers the important is that inzaghi doesn't come on
Maybe he isn't fast or skilled but believe me if he goes Infront of the goal he wont have mercy for the keeper

  4. Sorry for what? For making is job?
Did he say sorry for making Florentino a sucker the 2º time he try to sing him? no?
RM is always more important that any player, the club is gonna still be the greater of all time, before and after the Kylian era.
Greater players than Kylian wore the shirt and will wear it.
Remember Cristiano asking for more money and jump ship for Juve just for money? He still regret that. I rest my case.

  5. How will people learn that mbappe is and will always be HIM , the same guy who scored a hatrick in world cup final , 500 g/a and he ain't even in his prime yet believe me the guy will average 50+ g/a for the next 8+ seasons.

  6. Mmnope. It was expected to take a little bit of time to adjust, but he started playing at a higher level only in January (I think) so a pretty long time.

Still he's still missing quite a lot of goal scoring opportunities and let's not forget out of his first 6 goals for RM, 5 were from penalties or something along those lines.

If he keeps improving and maintains consistency we can revisit towards the end of the season.

  7. Great video and was so pleased to see you weren't one of the cl0wns jumping on the hate bandwagon earlier in the season.. never seen such vicious, targeted negativity towards a player just trying to settle in to a new team and country. He was obviously going to take some time to acclimatise to the new setting, and when he finally did, you always knew he was going to come good as a true generation talent. But people are so fickle and eager to cut others down that they became completely blinded to these basic facts, and that, aside from a few bad games and those two penalty misses, he was still doing okay. Not world class as expected, but decent enough.. now his back to his very best and the silence is deafening. A nice slice of humble pie for all the so called "experts" and listless haters that tried to write him off. What was that old saying, he who laughs last? -Well, I'm sure you know how the rest goes 😉

  8. He ain't proving the haters wrong. I mean if someone said he is not a worldclass player ok maybe yes but the most I have heard is he is not on the level of Messi and Ronaldo, in terms of how important he is for the team. He is also a disruptive force within the teams he has been and the current form of PSG proves it in a way.

And yes he is doing well in Real Madrid at present but he is performing well in a team that is essentially performing below the standards they have set for themselves which is kind of another argument against him. I honestly believe hi will be an unbelievable force in world football but he will fall short of reaching the heights of the 2 greatest to play the game. And no I am not purely talking about statistics I am talking about how impactful he will be in those teams.

  9. Thank you for this video. Unlike the other video essays I've seen about Mbappé's journey at RM so far, you're not just regurgitating the same talking points that are on social media. You sound like someone who actually watched the games and can make an independent analysis.

I would argue that Mbappé has a better connection with Rodrygo, but I agree with everything you said 👍

  10. Tally is made at the end of the season. Doesn't matter if you have a good couple of months, if Real win nothing big this season it's a failure. This is Real Madrid where winning ONLY the Champions League can be considered a failure.

  11. back when everybody was saying mbappe is finished n exposed, I only thought that mbappe was still trying to adapt w the new team n we should give it one season to do so bcs he is not ronaldo or benzema… plus his numbers were quite impressive for a “flop”…
trust me we are gonna see ronaldo unstoppable level of performance from mbappe once he’s fully adjusted to the no.9 role
