  1. Sterling has had very little opportunity but with all our injuries at the moment this is sterlings chance to get some game time and judging on yesterday it doesn't look like hes gonna take it, he looks like someone who's won everything and has no motivation anymore

  2. luckily for arsenal not only are they not paying his wages but he's only on loan till the end of the season. no doubt this has been a disaster signing for the club and i also think they've dodged a bullet when they had the opportunity to sign him permenatly before he joined chelsea. i would be surprised if any clubs would want him cos even saudi clubs aren't stupid enough to sign washed up player that's on a high wage. probably MLS would be a possibility for him if he'll lower his wage demands

  3. Sterling has dropped off massively since leaving man city…. He bad mouthed the club instead of getting his head down….. The grass in not always greener…. Here ends the lesson 💙

  4. Sterling has lost a yard or two of pace, that’s more than obvious. The issue is he isn’t dynamic or creative enough for the team. As for being a “mentor”, where do you reporters get this from? MLS & Nwanri were already being looked after in the summer tour. He was a panic signing and it hasn’t worked out.

  5. Man City dropped a clanger selling Cole Palmer for £42.5m but it can be offset by selling Sterling for £47.5m, which was a miracle. Agree with the Owen/Sterling example as Sterling has dropped off massively

  6. Paul Warhurst was at Sheffield Wednesday when he moved from defence to attack. It was because of injury to David Hirst. He got a transfer to Blackburn Rovers later on as a result of it.

  7. Sterling has never been great! he's been part of great teams and surrounded by great players which ultimately has hidden his limited ability, all he has ultimately had is pace! at Liverpool he played off Luis Suarez ability & genius! at Man city he was surrounded by world stars and still at times looked average, at Chelsea he had to do it himself & clearly couldn't, the pace is wanting and he has nothing else to offer & has subsequently been found out! and yet he's ended up at Arsenal, all washed up, disinterested and lacking any real ability or enthusiasm to offer anything of note on the pitch outside making up the numbers!

  8. Mikel Arteta is at fault for not giving Sterling enough time on the pitch to gain form. Also, Sterling had more impact than Michael Owen. Sterling earned Liverpool the league title if only the referees weren't dead set against him at the time. In his last season at Liverpool, he scored two perfect goals against Manchester City that were struck off for offside. The replays showed he was inside for both. Had those goals been given, Liverpool would have won the league that season by 3 points ahead of Manchester City. The Gerrard slip isn't what cost Liverpool. It was poor and corrupt officiating. Sterling joined Manchester City the following season and has been a serial PL winner ever since. So yes, Sterling had a bigger impact than Owen early in his career and throughout.

  9. It’s not confidence, he just looks like he’s a different player physically. Which is massive as his game was built around his agility and acceleration. He’s done.

  10. 100% agree with Mr winter, when you start so early 17/18 playing week in week out you eventually get burnt out. Theo Walcott is another good example

  11. His legs have gone and considering his pace and low centre of gravity is what made him effective, it’s easy to see why he looks finished now.

You’ve also got the fact that he simply has nothing to prove at Arsenal and is probably thinking about where he can end his career with the highest pay packet now because Arsenal certainly aren’t going to sign him.

  12. How comes city can find players like a Saviniho niko reis marmoush khusanov.

Whilst arsenal its always btecs Cedric jorginio haverts fabio viera willian cech zinchencho sterling.

Arsenal even looked into marmoush but wanted a premier league proven players arsenal need a better scouting team.

Why didn't arsenal not pay up for marmoush and wrap up deal arsenal will chase isak for a bigger and bigger fee like rice.

  13. Anyone saying Sterling has never been great forgets he’s scored 130 goals for Man City. 91 of which were in the PL. It’s a shame to see him lacking in confidence, but let’s put some respect his career

  14. It's incredible. Since he was 17 years old, Sterling has been criticised. Despite the fact, every winger in tye world today including Salah, is modelled to how Sterling plays and with the expectations of a winger Sterling has set demanding that wingers are as much a goal threat as strikers. You all talk like you have just started questioning Sterling when you have done so throughout his career, saying his goals are too easy yet others cannot match his movement do them, saying he only scores with one foot yet using both feet he has scored record numbers of goals for a winger in the Premier League matched only by Salah, saying he only scores because of the good players around him at Man City yet he did the same almost singlehandedly dragging England to our first final in over half a century surrounded by players in the England team not playing to their potential, saying he was greedy not to accept Livepool's offer to extend his contract yet Man City valued him with an offer that was double Liverpools offer, and it has gone on and on and on, while Graelish with his white skin has been praised having achieved nothing in comparison. This clearly a skin issue and praises for other black players as a cover does not hide this racism directed at Sterling by the media all his career and still continuing today. It has been relentless and never stops. Whether you like it or not, he has achieved more for his club team and England and been more influential to the success of his club team and England than any other English player in the last 50 years, yet others players are praised highly and as legends for achieving far less, certainly when concerning England. To the media there is nothing too praise about Sterling and all he has achieved has been achieved by fluke and little intelligence or skill which is just not possible or logical, but that is what the racists have successfully worked so hard to have us believe, despite great and successful managers picking him and wanting him in their teams because they see that skill and intelligence and his consistency at the highest level. Even against Leicester his movement and goal threat wearing the Leceister defense down was second to none was second to none. Peace and love
