Potential just means you haven't done anything yet.
The record holder for most goal contribution in finals and semis for the usmnt and he just started
Gio Reyna is to soccer what Buff Bagwell is to wrestling and Bobby Carpenter was to hockey. No Manager worth anything will sign him because he runs the risk of Mommy and Daddy Reyna calling and demanding why their little Gio is not playing.
Finals and semis seems an arbitrarily narrow qualifier. Pulisic is far and away the leader in goal contributions. You don't get to the semis or finals without him. I have no axe to grind about Reyna. I just think at some point the potential has to actually go to work. In physics (as in sport) potential energy means little until it does work.
He’s 22 still. He has the creative vision none of our other players have. Give him time. We always play better with him than without him.

I’d honestly take him at Spurs. Convinced that Ange could get through to him.
Berhalter aplogists holding a grudge over the world cup fiasco from 3 years ago, he was literally a teenager just let it go – he will find another club and do fine. Save the file.
He absolutely has the talent and Dortmund recognizes that but he’s desperately in need of a fresh start.
Not at any point in his career so far has he lived up to the hype surrounding him. Just endless disappointment.

Well, there was this ginger american we insisted could play soccer, went to Italy and proved he couldn't.
He is not. He has been oversold just as the men’s team has been. With the new coach, real talent will emerge. And I will wager we see little of Reyna on the pitch.

The answer is that there is no Hype. There is more hype about Pulisic than Reina.
There is not enough hype about McKenny. He is rising and fast!
There is more to soccer than offense.
