Wow ex Camb Utd player & gaffer Mark Bonner back at Camb Utd as NEW DOF COYU's! πΆπΆβ½
Neil Harris is a Yo-Yo manager Millwall to Camb Utd then sacked by Camb Utd goes back to Millwall then comes back for 2nd's at Camb Utd
Personally Iβm happy to get behind Harris and leave the past behind us, I hope other fans will feel the same way as we need all the help and support we can get in this time ππ€
COYU ππ€
To say I'm in shock would be an understatement!
To appoint somebody who most fans have called a hateful snake for the last year is a very strange decision!
Whose decision was it? I've heard that Ben Strang chose Bonner as his successor and then Bonner chose Harris as Monk's successor.
To be fair, we couldn't have attracted a better manager than Neil Harris on paper. Pound-for-pound, he was as good as any manager in The Championship in 2024.
It's all very bizarre and I just hope it's a stroke of genius and we're heading for promotion to League One, rather than fighting to stay out of the National League this time next year!
Some may think things were going great just before he walked out on us but this comment I made at the time shows that things had started to go downhill a bit after a very good start:
"I seem to remember saying on here that I was underwhelmed by Harris' appointment and after having a new manager bounce(7 points from 3 games), I haven't been particularly overwhelmed by his management since the first half at Oxford on Boxing Day."
"11 points from 10 games isn't a bad run when you're in a relegation battle but I would say since that awful second half at Oxford, we've put in three terrible performances, two very poor performances, two decent performances and just two good displays."
Welcome back guys
We should get behind them. Chances are league 2 if anyone can get us out of this itβs Harris. Proven record and Bonβs is a fan favourite. But I donβt want to see 1 upfront in any game if so i donβt think the dynamic duo will last long. I have faith but no team should be playing 1 upfront. But it seems to be a good decision
Hope that both can keep us in the division this season!!
Bonz is back! Bomber will be doing his happy dance at the end of the game when we get a good result. I've forgotten the word relegation
I see MILWALL was playing 4-4-2 under Harris on his return! Promising signs.
Wow just when you thought it couldnt get worse… owners really are clueless π
Good luck Harris top man and great manager thank you for what you done Down the den
I hope you do well
Things you thought you'd never see, a contrite Neil Harris but best of luck to them both – United in Endeavour! π€π
I see no point in denigrating the new management. But I am not surprised Harris as returned an I believe he will get the best out of the players those that think differently I say give them a chance an get behind the team an club as a whole. Up the u's!
They've got me on side! Whose joining me? π
Neil really sounds like he's a man on a mission along with Bonz. Despite the way things are going this season I'm really excited for the future
