DeSepid and I recently took an exciting trip to Lisbon, Portugal, to watch the Champions League playoff match between Sporting CP and Borussia Dortmund at José Alvalade Stadium and to personally deliver a pair of custom-designed Nike Air Force 1 sneakers to Zeno Debast, Sporting CP’s rising star.
Matchday: Sporting CP vs. Borussia Dortmund
On matchday, we arrived at the iconic José Alvalade Stadium, buzzing with energy as thousands of fans gathered for this crucial Champions League clash. The atmosphere was electric, with Sporting CP supporters passionately chanting and hoping for a victory.
However, Borussia Dortmund dominated the game, securing a 3-0 win over Sporting CP. Guirassy, Gross, and Adeyemi were the goal scorers, sealing the fate of the Portuguese side. It was a tough night for Sporting fans, but witnessing a high-level European match in such a legendary stadium was still an incredible experience.
Meeting Zeno Debast & Delivering the Custom Sneakers
The day after the match, we had the opportunity to meet Zeno Debast in Lisbon to hand over the custom sneakers designed by Sepideh. The shoes were a unique, hand-painted tribute to his career, Sporting CP, and his personal style.
Zeno was genuinely impressed by the design and loved the sneakers! Seeing his reaction was a rewarding moment for Sepideh, as it showcased the impact of her creative work. It was a great conversation, and he appreciated the effort that went into making something exclusive just for him.
Capturing the Journey for YouTube
Throughout our trip, we documented everything to create a vlog for our YouTube channel. From the stadium atmosphere and the game highlights to our one-on-one moment with Zeno Debast, we wanted to share the full experience with our audience.
