Musiala is expected to a sign a new contract with Bayern Munich when he turns 18, however his international future is still uncertain.
Already capped twice by England for their U21 side, a battle ensues for his long term international assignment. Germany boss Joachim Low said last month that he wants Musiala to play for the ‘land of his birth’ and this may result in him being offered a senior call up for the German international team.

I still don't understand why England is claiming him. His father is Nigerian who immigrated to England, his mother is German and he was born in Germany, where does England fit into all this? From what I understand his choice should be between Germany and Nigeria.
