Hello and welcome back to The Lowdown where today Dougie is joined by Buvey and Jack Collins to GRADE every Premier League manager this season.

Hear our thoughts on whether Mikel Arteta deserves more scrutiny for Arsenal’s challenging season, whether Eddie Howe is the Premier League’s best pound for pound manager, whether Ange Postecoglou and Ruben Amorim should be under pressure after miserable seasons for Spurs and Man United and so much more!

Not only that, we analyse whether Pep Guardiola is to blame for City’s struggles, if Unai Emery deserves a top grade and if Enzo Maresca is responsible for Chelsea’s drop off in form.

  3. Buvey’s got the point about Slot vs Klopp wrong. Klopp’s best sides were incredibly consistent despite only winning one league. They’ve got 2 out of 5 of the teams with most points in a premier league season. We won’t be seeing a Slot side breaking 95 points anytime soon

  5. Considering everything Arsenal have been through this season (2 ridiculous red cards that you'll never see again, another red for Sailba that should have been (and was by the referee until VAR and Howard Webb intervened, the next day Liverpool-Chelsea was an identical situation and it was yellow), a yellow and a real injury crisis like I've never seen before) and still being in the title race and only 7 points behind Liverpool who haven't had any of the struggles that Arsenal have had, Arteta has done an unbelievably great job this season.

  6. Arteta got a C while he had to deal with 4 red cards in 9 games played, multiple injuries, weird ref calls and didnt lost to any of the top 6 while only spending 90M in the summer and he's a young manager? Hold on just a minute…

  7. Glad I stayed to the end to hear that Flop-etagui was the worst managerial appointment not just this season but of ALL time..! Totally agree, Potter is deffo the right guy, Loppy was atrocious..!⚒️ (Love Moyes and genuinely so happy he's back in the game and he's doing well and whatnot but don't want Everton finishing above us at all 🫣)

  8. I’m an Ipswich fan since 2000 and McKenna has my backing 110%, this season is beyond our dreams and even if we go down, he is the one who can make a push back up again without doubt

  9. Arteta getting a C 🤣 He's faced 3 red cards that haven't been seen before or since. He's missed our best players for some of our biggest games this season, and currently has none of his first choice attacker's available with no depth. He's also not been backed in the transfer market one bit despite multiple interviews practically begging for the club to do something.

Yet despite that, he's within touching distance of a virtually flawless Liverpool side, qualified automatically in 3rd in the CL above the likes of Madrid, Bayern, City, PSG and has reached a Carabao Semi-final. By no means am I saying he's been perfect but given the adversity he's faced to still compete in the way he has done, a C is VERY harsh.

  10. Harsh on Arteta. Arsenal are still in the title race even with that weird start that included 4 red cards after 9 games played AND big injuries. If Arteta was a more likeable person i could see him getting a B or above, but because he's a moaner, so he gets marked down

  11. can you just stop making these nonsensical videos about garbage, nobody cares made up 'pub talk.' get these idiots off sky and get some real pundits and journalists. not this shambles of a waste of time

  12. Keeping in mind that many people wanted and thought Alonso was going to come in, the fact that slot has overcome a lot of that is a real testament to the quality throughout the club- manager, players, board, and fans have done a great job with leadership and support.
