Post-match reactions from the 21st game of our 2024/2025 Singapore Premier League season.
Tanjong Pagar United came into this game with decent form after a horror first half of the season. Coach Noh Alam Shah’s return had them playing well and grinding out results so there was a small worry coming into this game with little rest after our midweek trip to the Philippines.
However, we need not have worried because our players controlled the game from start to finish. A hat-trick from Lennart Thy, and a header from a corner from Bailey Wright meant that our Sailors could cruise to a 4-1 win.
We spoke with three Belgians who were obviously huge supporters of Maxime, but were unable to see a Maxime goal or assist (this is a rare occurrence), and then Hambali, who recently went to the Philippines as part of the Crew to cheer on our Sailors against Kaya FC.
