It’s crazy how Arteta signed this new deal and isn’t being backed in this window when we are so short.
Surely there would have been some guarantees in terms of signings, unless he was happy to wait till the summer and take the risk..
When one link is weakened stress is passed on the next links its common sense so expect other team players to get injuries. Solution is Using Academy players to relieve the stress.
Lets get our youth players to play, we have give up the season anyway

Hi all,
3 things quickly:
1) really interesting interview with Peter Wallton.
2) On Tomiyasu, it is very frustrating, but it is what it is for now. Yes there are question marks over his future, but the reality is that he'll be here next season as nobody will buy him this summer (as shown by Tierney in previous years) so we need to now focus on getting him fit and playing again because IF we can he's a useful asset.
3) On Havertz, it's now being reported he's out for the season which is very disappointing for us, the club and him as he was on for 20+ goals. It does make the lack of action in the market even more irritating (though I think that was more likely to be a wide player than a striker, unless it was a loan, given the high level of striker we want making it harder to do in January given the money that was available given FFP/PSR issues) as I think we could have found somebody to help us even if it was a loan and had we done so that might have lessened the load of the attackers to reduce the injury risk. But equally the level of injuries we and other clubs have had this season is unbelievable and does raise questions about whether players are playing too much.

K.Tierney as a sub LW, Timber sub RW, when White comes back, Gabriel Magalaes as ST with Kivior or Calafiori to sub him as CB. Merino as a ST? Zinchenko LW?
We will see tactics we haven't seen in football for years. If we stay 2nd in a League then Arteta is a genius.
Please keep your chin up Tom – our luck has to change at some point. There's an old song called "Three Wheels On My Wagon" feels quite appropriate to where we currently find ourselves!

This complete mismanagement from top to bottom by the club leaves the team in such a bad state that it's in. It's absolutely shocking losing their main attackers upfront in Saka, Havertz, Martinelli, and Jesus to long-term injuries. The club should have never let Edu go without replacing him first for his sporting Director role, now we experienced an absolute disaster of a January transfer window. Although people will blame Arteta (Some of the blame needs to be on him), most of the blame must be on the board for not supporting Arteta during the January Transfer Window. It's all about staying in the top 4, which will be difficult.
I don't know about you guys, but this has been the most frustrating season under Arteta since his 8th place finishing season. The one season where City is terrible, we are nowhere near as good, but Liverpool with a new manager is suddenly booming. Also the season with a bunch of injuries and the top management of the club not seeming to want to push the club further for the title. As if they are now satisfied with us maintaining Top 4 like how I feel they did during the latter Wenger years.
The board/Ayto failed to provide depth on this team from the start. This isn’t bad luck. It’s bad preparation.
Tom, I'm afraid to put on my Arsenal training/game kits now, because I might do my hamstring. 🫣
Also, could you ask Arteta whether or not he thinks a hot dog is a sandwich? 🙏🏼

If we manage to stay in the Top 4 with a starting front 3 of Sterling, Trossard, Nwaneri …. Arteta should manager of the year.
Slot will get it, but Arteta will have actually earned it.
Lee gang in will be a great addition to the team. I wish we can sign him in the summer along with a striker
Butler-Oyedeji it's time to step up to the first team. He's got 8 goals and 6 assists in 13 matches. That's an excellent rate and I think warrants him being given a go against Leicester for 30 minutes. I'd put Trossard through the middle to start with, Tierney on the left.
Thank you Tom for mentioning Sam Dean's article on the Visit Rwanda sponsoring. I didn't have a clue about the horrific situation. We can shout at Newcastle and others for their problematic ownership/sponsors, but we also have to look in the mirror. For me personally, this is not acceptable. I won't buy a new shirt as long as we have this sponsor.

I've noticed that since you took a break you have done three 45 minute shows. Ok so there's a lot of preparation but in terms of time spent doing the shows, one more day and you will have totally made up for the time away. If you are compensating, please stop.
