Geoff here Maastricht😁Money has ruined the FA cup just like it is trying to ruin all UK football. Today i saw on Dutch TV and to be honest they scored a lucky goal, we missed a penalty and their keeper saved them with other saves. Good runaround for the subs and good start for the 17 years old.
For me the League is more important..
I was there we were awful really bad
10 changes in todays game players did not gel at all. We play Millwall on the 12th March so lets get the 3 points then. We can now concentrate on getting automatic promotion. Starting with a win against Watford on Tuesday.
To me, we weren't that bad overall in the first half, and managed to fashion quite a few dangerous situations but for a lot of the second looked like we hadn't played together.
Chambers was impressive for a 17 year old and Schmidt was fairly lively but Joseph couldn't find a pass with both hands, a torch and radar. Seemed to me that he didn't find any space all afternoon and I don't remember him not coming off second best when a ball was played up to him, though that might just have been Millwall doing a good job. A long run of games in a loan spell might have been better than relying on him to perform this season.
All in all, I'm not bothered about going out of the cup – even to Millwall – but the performance was disappointing. Let's hope we're back on it at full strength for the rest of the league campaign.

I get the vibe that not even the players really cared about this match, Chambers was probably the one omission and a nice moment for him to get his first start. But the feeling I get is that everyone within wants to focus on the league and can probably echo your thoughts about the state of the FA cup.
I agree about the FA Cup. Our League position is paramount. BUT it was a time for players to showcase the fact that they should be starting in the league games. I was disappointed to see how indifferent a performance it was. NO one made a case for prime inclusion. It has shown me the DF's team picking is very considered. What today has proven is that DF deserves even more of my trust. Loved the Watchalong and the show, Max along with the chatting to a community of friends. Both goals were very unfortunate, and didn't make him look like a starter.
Cameron Archer: 3.57 rating at BBC Sport website now. Would have fitted right in today.
Resting players now is like an international break, we never play well after a break. I wouldn't have made as many changes so we could keep our winning rhythm going.

What a piss poor performance. Even with ten changes we should still have given a better account of ourselves than we did. Josuh maybe good in the dressing room but after this that maybe the best place for him. He was abysmal and if I never see him in a Leeds shirt again it will be a day too soon. Gnonto and Joseph offered nothing. Ampadu was not at the races either. The penalty was a soft penalty and Pascal took that literally. Basically a passback. I could go on Max but I just feel too sick to carry on

We've just given a step by step perfect way to beat Leeds United no matter what personnel we use.
Ball retention is the golden rule.
We must possess the ball for as long as possible therefore we don't concede, defend, attack or statistically do anything bad…….. OR good.
We can't defend as a unit so we retain possession as long as possible to hope the others back off.
Then we just keep banging on until we score and get a result.
Every defeat has shown this.
Ampadu- one of the worst performances I've seen in a Leeds shirt along with JG and Joseph.only chambers gave a fck.
